Do you think its possible to change your body?

I've been reading lots on the subconscious mind lately, and I watched the secret and it showed a woman who cured herself without medical treatment. I also read in a book called "The genie within your subconscious mind" about a man who managed to change his eye colour.

It kind of makes sense, its like when you think about something distugsting it might make you feel sick, or when you think of a food you like your mouth waters, anyway has anyone manifested anything regarding changes in there body?

Eye colour, eh? that's interesting, because I've thought about it being possible to do that, and wanting to do it. I'll look up the book, thanks.

Re: Changing your body, I dunno. The closest I've come to is wanting to improve my eyesight, back in hte summer and I could actually see more clearly than normal and having my glasses on gave me a headache, as if they were too strong. I got freaked out and said no, though and my eyesight went back to the way it was.

However, I have also read a lot of stuff related to that, including visualization and hypnosis reducing pain, reducing recovery times, etc, as well as one thing about hypnosis being used by women to increase their bust size.

So..yes, it is possible. I also recall reading something about people with multiple personality disorders (though this is contested) manifesting diseases like diabetes and changing eye colours and the like.

Strange stuff.

Funny you should mention multiple personality disorders because in the exact book I mentioned the author tells of two people who changed their eye colour, one the person with MPD, who could change it instantly, and the other guy experimental and took him weeks.

But thats amazing you managed to change your eyesight how long did it take you? did you use visualisation, affirmations etc, its a shame you did'nt keep on and got freaked out.

I've also read of a woman in this forum who has managed to make herself younger, reversing her menopause and losing weight and middle aged bloating. Probably the most amazing manifestion i've read on here.

Yes, it must be possible. Many people are making themselves sick with worry. Literally I mean. People with anxiety for example or hypochondria can literally manifest symtoms of illnesses that they are worrying that they might have.

Surely if the mind can damage the body it can heal and change it to.

Honestly? I have no idea. It was just one of those things that just happeend. I had toyed with the idea of using that sort of thing to improve my eyesight but never seriously considered it. I haven't really tried again.

I also read a book called something like How to Improve Eyesight without glasses or contact lenses, which I thought might be plausible but didn't have the time to do it then.

Sounds very interesting, do you personally believe those posters thoe? about using shamanism to change their bodies?

People say that some form of action has to be taken, but these guys are claiming to have changed themselves through their minds alone.
