Default Subjective Reality and I-M

Steve's earlier subjective reality articles say that you've created everything that has entered your reality. However, his newer subjective reality articles state that we are all conscious creators. So it would be wrong to say that you've attracted everything in your reality, because someone else could have just as easily attracted it in to their life, and it just so happens to show up in your reality as well. For example, I might have won a car. Now according to Steve's original subjective reality articles, I would say that I've attracted that in to my life. But according to his newer subjective reality articles, my boyfriend could have also attracted it in to our life. So isn't it wrong to say that I attract "everything" in my life. Wouldn't it be more accurate to say that I've attracted some things in to my life, and the people in my reality have attracted the rest?

I feel too like there is difference between Steve's earlier articles-posts and his later articles-posts about Subjective Reality.

Yeah, I think he chickened out from his earlier point of view. I was disappointed, because I kind of liked it and would have been curious to see it developed further.

His explanation of it in the past was something along the lines of "*I* do create reality, but the *I* I'm talking about is not Steve *I*, it's consciousness." which in my opinion is kind of a copout. Meaning, if he's talking about every living thing on earth having a consciousness, and that this consciousness creates everything, what's so revolutionary about that?

I never doubted that the house down the block was created by someone who's conscious, you know what I mean? Who cares if at some super-spiritual level beyond this life me and the person who created that house are made of the same energy if my present Ego/Body self has no access or responsibility for that.

This way of thinking seperates us all, in my opinion and eliminates responsibility.

I prefer Steve's old thinking that WE create everything. As in, ME, PAUL, CREATES everything.

You might want to check out Zero Limits by Joe Vitale. It corresponds to Steve's old way of thinking.

I'm glad this came up, because I've been thinking along the same lines and thought it was just me

But Steve's earlier writings got me thinking and I LIKE that earlier version of SR better so I've adopted it for myself. So in the case of winning a car, if it happened to me I would say I attracted it into my life. I also would have attracted the boyfriend, the folks that gave away the car, etc, etc.

The best we can do is read Steve's articles, or any other articles that we feel speak to us, and claim that which resonates with us and leave the rest.

You guys should read the book "Our Ultimate Reality".

Basically covers everything and talks about the same stuff Steve said.

It basically says that we live inside of "God's mind", which is kinda profound when you think about what exactly that means.

Subjective reality is about one person (the person who perceives this reality), so the only correct way to talk about subjective reality is in the first person singular ("I").

The words "we" and "our" don't belong in an exposé about subjective reality.

It's a bit more subtle than that. All the people in your reality were attracted by you. If your boyfriend has a widget, then:

1. he attracted a widget into his life; and
2. you attracted a boyfriend with a widget in his life

But........the boyfriend didn't exist until she attracted him into her life........so there was not really an independent boyfriend attracting a widget first.

impaul,i wanna buy the book you said, but i want to buy it in my language but not sure how did they translate it's name.I found a book in my language called "Secret of Law of Attraction" by Joe Vitale.May this book the same book as zero limits or is there another book called secret of law of attraction(or law of attraction secret)?

I looked at Zero Limit's original website,i want this book!!!Look like it's great!

Quote from it's website(from book):
""What about the books that are already sold and out there?" I asked.

"They aren't out there," he explained, once again blowing my mind with his mystic wisdom. "They are still in you."
