The Reality behind Reality

I'm going to ask this and I'm not really sure why but here goes...

Has anyone ever heard of or has knowledge of "The Reality behind Reality" it's not a book, just something that keeps popping up every now and then. Like I'll hear something like "I hope people will see the reality behind the reality so they can start living their dreams" type thing...

That can mean a lot of things. Have you read "The Disappearance of the Universe"?

"Disappearance of the Universe" is preposterous B.S. Like we're really supposed to believe two sages "materialized" in some guy's living room -- just so happened he was bored, broke, having marital problems, and needed a viable book idea at the time. Seems pretty convenient.

The context of my initial question was in regards to "mainstream media" and what is being taught in education as being reality VS. "the reality behind this illusion"

Again, I'm not really sure where I'm headed with this... It's something that perked my attention when I heard it...

What does this have to do with IM or LOA, I'm not really sure yet...

It's brought up a lot in context of the Matrix movie as well. In the "seduction" boards people talk about waking up from the Matrix all the time. And I've been saying it to myself a lot "...just waking up from the matrix."

I even posted about waking up from the matrix somewhere else.

The world is made up of people who's beliefs and opinions have been implanted by other people (parents, teachers, media, everything they come in contact with their whole life). So you go through life living someone else's life, as in your "ego" or "identity" is actually the result of someone else's ideas. You spend your life trying to fit into the framework of other people's ideas and concepts, never knowing who YOU are. I think we try to chip away at that on this forum, clearing away faulty concepts and opinions that don't serve us, and learn to discover who we are underneath years of perceiving other peoples opinions as our own reality.

In the context of LOA or IM, it's saying "no, the world actually DOESN'T work the way I always THOUGHT it did. I'm experiencing things every day that other people say CAN'T work or CAN'T be real becasue "life's not like that!"

But it seems to be, if your own experience is different than the experience other people are telling you you're SUPPOSED to be experiencing (they are projecting their own experience onto you) then you're waking up from some sort of matrix or perceiving a different reality behind the reality you thought was the real reality.

Does it? I don't know about you, but my life is full of events where people, resources, teachers, etc. show up exactly when I need them and am ready for them. If these two "sages" were to show up in your life, for example, wouldn't it make sense for them to show up when you were bored, broke and having merital problems when they can help? It would be kind of stupid if they showed up when you're too busy, super wealthy and planning your 20th wedding anniversary.

Anyway... if you don't believe these two showed up, then just read the book as if the author is teaching what they taught, not them. Either way, the book is awesome.
