Question about the LoA

Earlier today, I was trying to bring an exempel to my girlfriend that the LoA have worked for me. Actually for us.

We moved in together November 1st this year. We were searching a while for an appartement we could rent. After a while with no luck, we found a perfect one. So we called the advertisor. There had already been 4 or 5 interested callers before us. But we agreed to meet and so on.

All in all we had a pretty good feeling, or at least I did, that we were actually going to get this appartement, even though there were others who wanted it too. And now I'm sitting in it, typing this. I wasn't even surprised when we got it, I just had this good feeling we were gonna get it. I was just relieved.

My girlfriend agreed that I had a point in this exempel. But she was quick to bring another example, "proving" the opposite:

A couple of months ago she had to take her final exam. She's been out in practice in a job for 2 years, and she was going to have an exam that would last a week, with 2 people watching her as she worked, and giving her tasks. Everybody just "knew" that she would pass it. She don't have the habit of thinking positive, but even she thought that she would make it. She's very skilled in the work she's doing, and all of her co-workers have only positive things to say about her. I was also "sure" she was going to pass.

She failed.
(This was one of those tests you either pass or fail, no inbetween).

Now, how could this happen? You would think the universe had it all lined up for her, and that nothing was standing in her way, with all this positive energy around her. Everyone, including herself, thought she was going to make it, and I don't think the possibility of failure got much focus at all. So I don't think she or anybody else "attracted" the failure, by simply worrying about it.

So, how could it happen?

Was it simply because she didn't know about the LoA? (None of us really did at that time). I don't think so, but I would like to hear others opinions.

I must admit I couldn't give her a good answer to that, so I'm turning to you

I look at situations and examples like those as not having the big picture.

Something happens in our micro reality that just does not make sense in relation to what we are wanting to manifest.

Later, we can usually see that things had to happen that way in order to get to a specific outcome.

For instance, something delays you when you are heading to an appointment and you find out later that if you had left at your desired time then you would have been involved in a bad accident.

Another - you want to manifest making more money so you ask for a raise and get fired instead. Then later you get a better job making even more money than before. During that period after you were fired you would be thinking that the LOA really sucks.

Hi Sindre,

alot of the time when this type of thing happened and things seem to go wrong there is a hidden idea or belief that I uncovered. Once I explored my beleifs about a particular situation the reason for the event became much clearer.

If I were you I would take some time to sit down with the ideas and see what comes to mind.
