Default Why The Love of Money Maketh You Rich!

When you love money, it can be the root of all good or all evil. Remember that all truth are half truths. The glass can be half empty or half full. One perspective is only half the truth. When you can see things one way as well as the opposite, you have full perspective and total truth. When you love money, that love is the root that can grow into that which is good or evil. Loving money with awareness leads to all good whereas loving money with ignorance leads to all evil.

Wealth is a state of being. Having wealth begins with being wealth. When you are wealth, you are one with everything that is wealth. To be one with something is to love it, accept it, embrace it and be completely comfortable with it. Money being a form of energy that facilitates enjoyment and providence is a form of wealth. Therefore to be wealth is to be one with money and to love it, accept it, embrace it and be completely comfortable with it. Money moves to the one who loves it the most!

Take out some bills from your wallet and hold it in your hands. Look at it and just be with it. Say to yourself that you love money and money loves you. Feel good about it and feel the love for it. Do the same with your credit cards, your jewelries, your checks, your back account statement, and things that represent money. See all these things not as separated from you, but they are all extensions of your being. The more you love money and are at one with it, the more you attract it into your life.

Hi, I totally agree with your posting on money (although I probably would fondle my cash in public ).

After I read T Harv Eker's 'Secrets of the Millionaire Mind' I started thinking about any possible sub-conscious negative feelings I might have about having money and dragged up memories of being a very young child and my Grandmother (who I love dearly) repeatedly saying "money is the root of all evil" and other such things.

I consciously started questioning those negative thoughts and affirming instead: "Money's a good thing...it means I can help more people " and saying to myself "Money's just a symbol after all - it's neither good or evil - the whole idea's stupid!"

Needless to say my income doubled in less than a year and has continued to increase. (I've worked my ass off too though!!)

On a manifestation note: I gave £11 to a stranger in the street recently and walked around the corner and within 2 minutes found exactly £111.00 !! When I told my friend she said : "Oh yeah, if you give without expecting anything back then it comes back to you ten-fold..didn't you know that?" !!!

If anyone else has uncanny stories of finding money etc I'd love to hear it, 'cos I find money ALL the time! I'm famous for it amongst my friends and family. Many times I'm in the company of several people and I'm the only person that spots the £20 note we're walking past..strange but true!

I couldn't agree more - as you say, money is neither good nor bad, but it can be used for both purposes. I too have read T Harv Ecker's book and it made me realise that although my family wouldn't go so far as to say money is evil, I have grown up with a general feeling that money is hard to come by.

In fact just today I was in the car with my Dad, driving past a Porsche garage and I pointed across and said "I want one of those, which do you fancy?" Without hesitating he replied "I don't even bother thinking about it because I know it'll never happen."

To be honest it saddens me a bit that he thinks that way but I don't let it affect me - I still intend to be rich, and when I am I'll buy him one anyway :P

Old friend of most of us, Napoleon Hill, quite some time ago said something very on the line of what you are expressing: the very First Step to Riches is DESIRE: The Starting Point of All Achievement, and the Second is FAITH: Visualising and Believing in the Attainment of Desire.

Think and Grow Rich is actually something I was looking at buying, but there seem to be lots of different versions which is confusing me slightly. Plus the ones that people say are the best aren't available :S

Hi Pete, the one I have is this: Think and Grow Rich: The Landmark Bestseller--Now Revised and Updated for the 21st Century by Arthur R. Pell

But I personally don't think you will find much of a difference between one edition or another, the "Thirteen Steps to Riches" are the essence of the book and they cannot be changed. The message should be able to be caught in any edition, and even in my blog

I agree with you as well. The whole "Money is the Root of All Evil" has screwed over enough people and made them live lives of poverty and lack due to fear of being "Evil".

Abundance is our natural state of being. There's nothing wrong with having abundance in our lives, whether it be in terms of monetary currency, or love from your family and friends, or anything else.

Default the LOVE of money is the root of all evil

i need to correct some of you. it is not that money is the root of all evil, it's the love of it. money in it self is neither good or bad. but when you love it scripture tells us that it can lead to everything evil. For the love of money people have took out insurances on people and had them killed to to collect on the insurance. For the love of money people have run companies into the ditch, unemploying thousands of people. For the love of money, siblings fight among themselves for the family inheritance thus leaving a bitterness in the family that can last a lifetime. For love of money people have cast themselves into hell fire, because their god is their money. No my friends, it is not good to love money, rather love God for only he can deliver you from eternal damnation, money cannot do that, no matter how much of it you have. You don't have to love money to be rich. If God gives you the tools to be rich, count it as a blessing, buy don't be high-minded because of it. Remember, scripture says that only God can gives us the power to be rich. And what is that power? Brain power. If you are smart, you have God to thank for that.

I couldn't disagree more. If people kill for money, it's not a sign that the love of money is evil, it's a sign that the person has something seriously wrong with them. I just don't believe that money can drive someone to abandon their morals to such an extent, in the same way that I don't believe that rock music, video games etc are the cause of high school shootings.

As for feeling blessed if God deems you worthy enough to become rich, that's just nonsense. If there is a God who is separate to this universe (which I don't believe for a start), then I believe he'd give every person the tools to achieve everything they could dream of, be it money or anything else.

Pete
