Hit and run. Paul was actually one of my first synkros (that I choose to remember I guess). I remember reading his blog months ago and him mentioning the book Illusions, an older book. I went to the used bookstore and looked everywhere for it, nowhere. I just figured it wasn't there, and I was preparing to leave, it was sitting on the little "new arrivals" shelf. |

| Close, it's 15. J/K. Synchronistic events are one of the easiest things to manifest with Law of Attraction, which is why most poeple's first experience with LoA is not creating money or curing disease, but rather creating synchronicities. We have less fewer conflicting beliefs about synchronicities than we do about manifesting money out of thin air. We have a special word called "co-incidence" which explains everything nicely so we can go back to living in our normal world. If you learn about law of attraction and you set an intention (conscious or unconscious) to start seeing synchronicities they will all of a sudden begin appearing everywhere. It's kind of like telling the universe "Do something strange". How hard is that? It's not very hard for the universe to respond with something strange, right? So basically, I see synchronicities as something that only require very little "LoA Abilities" to manifest, as compared to lets say making money appear out of thin air or curing cancer or something like that. The cool thing also is that the more you pay attention to them, the more you start to see. Try this experiment. LOOK for any kind of co-incidence or synchronicity. Even if it's easily explainable as a co-incidence, just tell yourself "I created that, COOL!" and get excited about it. Keep noticing ANYTHING that's a co-incidence. You see someone with the same name as you, say "COOL! I created that!" and when you see the same car with the same color in front of you say "COOL! I created that!". Just keep doing that and playing with it, and soon enough you'll start creating some weird **** that totaly can't be explained by "normal coincidence" or even the Reticular Activating System. |

It was the book that my friend was talking about before creating a shattered rubiks cube on the sidewalk. Also, one day he was saying to me "You gotta read this book called Illusions" and I said "What kind of stuff is in it?" and he said "For example he talks about the ability to make clouds go away." and right then we were at a stop sign and a big truck drove by and he had this giant sticker on the front of his windshield that said "ILLUSIONS". Maybe I should read it again, lol.

I see, thanks paul... A few years ago I started noticing these "co-incidences" just like you said, and they got more and more intense (to the point of freaky), it really scared me... But, I understand now... I was looking at the booklet that came the other day with the picture matching the one I had picked out for my clients website.... On the cover it's titled "CONNECTIONS", I just noticed it today... I think i might check out the book you mentioned... |

Cool Paul. I've come to accept that they aren't coincidences, they are kind of like training wheels to me. I guess if you manifested the big things all at once, it would just fry your brain. But seeing the names, things like that, it lets you get more comfortable with creating reality. I'm not so freaked out about it anymore. However, I think I've been confusing them with "alpha reflections", which can be good or bad. Like seeing the name of the person I want to connect with, if I really should be moving on, then maybe I shouldn't be looking for the name all the time to give me false hope. But I do see the name when I expect to. BUT, seeing the name of the place I want to visit, makes me happy and makes me want to go there more. |

As well as "Every person, all the events of your life are there because you have drawn them there. What you do with them is up to you." How fitting.

I had another one Friday. I was reading an email from a newsletter discussing the word "indolent." At the same exact moment, my MD was correcting his voice recognition software in the room next door. Guess what word he was repeatedly saying. Yep. Weird. Jennifer |

a few of you posted about seeing names and looking for them---what about seeing and hearing a name when you least expect it?? and it makes your heart jump when it happens! i have been trying to move on from a situation---because the timing just isn't right---and i am ok with it---but i will see the name at the weirdest times---on my way to a blind date---right when i was getting ready to email a guy--potential love interest--even my friends freak out at times--we went to a shoe store and the i randomly picked up a pair of shoes and it had my first name and that name as the last name---my friend freaked out--and the shoe store was called "solemates"...one of the strangest things was i went to look up on the internet--doorknobs and when i clicked on the picture i liked--the brand name was his last name--i mean i didn't go looking for it.... i could go on and on--at work i pulled out a spoon out of the drawer and it had his last name on it---i am a therapist and i went to fill up an oxygen tank and boom there on the tank is his last name as part of the company name!! it isn't a common name either....now i have always thought that this individual and i are meant to be together, but right now neither of us can do a long distance relationship!! so we are dating other people! we have absolutely no harsh feelings toward each other! i would be interested in anyone's thoughts or if they have had similar experiences??! thanks jb33 |

I'm still trying to make sense of it. If IM is real, then obviously, we are attracting people into our lives for a reason. But you may not know that reason. The name I keep seeing, just doesn't look like it's going to happen. But I learned a lot about myself from the experience, and am making some changes in my life in light of the the types of things I was thinking of when she was around. I really don't know what the deal is, why I keep seeing/ hearing her name. Trying to put the most positive spin on it. I know that I am different now, after the fact, than I was before. So I can't help but grow from it. Seeing the name of someone who doesn't seem to want to be with me, doesn't help though. And it may be unhealthy to read more into it. Maybe we have several soul mates in our lives. We attract people into our lives for a reason, but that doesn't mean the reason is to be together forever. In my past I can see that when I felt bad about myself, I attracted women who I felt like I had known forever, there was an instant "knowing"---and they felt bad about themselves too. "Birds of a feather". I do believe we came into each others lives for some reason. But I wouldn't want to go back and "start over" with them, because I've changed. Kind of going on and on here. I think what I said was true, in addition to the not very reassuring idea that the name may be popping up for the simple fact that you are expecting to see it everywhere, might as well be the word "cantelope". |

one of the strangest things is --three yrs before i ever met him i was living in another state and i met someone who had his last name as a first name, and i told my friend "my little boy will be named ****" because i think it is really unique and uncommon! three yrs later i move here and i meet this guy and the moment i met him i just had this "knowing" feeling---i couldn't explain it---and for the longest time i only knew his first name! all my friends thought i was crazy to think this about this guy---but i had dreams and thoughts that came true---i would tell my friends about them ahead of time and they thought i was a little crazy--until it happened and it was usually months after the fact--this is the first time i have had these type of experiences with an individual---and when i found out what his last name was i was floored---felt it was a sign from the universe! i guess time will tell jb33 |

Illusions is a great book, I'm going to have to read it again as it has been a while. Another book synchro - I was reading an e-newsletter and the writer wrote about the "Curly Principle" from the movie City Slickers. A couple of days later I am reading a book for a grad class and sure enough, the author of that book uses the Curly reference there. I thought it was really wierd and wrote about it on an educational blog. An editor from a magazine emailed me and asked if I would expand on it for a piece for the mag. He also asked if I would like to blog at the national conference. Not sure where all this is headed, but certainly in a new and interesting direction. I like what Paul is saying about playing with the LOA. I will certainly focus my attention on that, sounds like fun. Dave |

| It is. I don't believe in coincidence anymore, somehow you indeed are creating all of these things. Hell the girl I'm talking about, after I learned she had lost her job (and figured I'd never see her again) several hours after she was gone, our cars merged right next to each other on a huge crowded freeway. What are the chances of that? I know I made that happen. Just don't know why. |

hey C! do you ever think that you have unfinished business with this girl? whenever i have seen his last name---i would see it more than once in a matter of a few minutes or a few days and then bam i would hear from him--hear something about him! last year i kept seeing the number 33 and it has always been significant to me--hence my screen name---and so whenever i see that number i always feel it is the universe/angels connecting with me--well last summer i kept seeing the number 733---and i chalked it up to the fact that it was his birthday month--july! well i kept seeing it and was wondering what it all meant--and then i kept seeing his truck in a matter of a ten minute span of running errands--and i felt i should email him so i did and he told me he was coming home on leave---which turned out to be july--he was home for his birthday!! 733!!! so maybe it means something like you have unfinished business or that she may be back in your life at some point!! jb33 |
