| I set the intention to get a new bike (as noted in the Apple Notebook thread). Yesterday, I was meeting someone in a less than safe area of Dublin and locked up my bike. I had an ominuous feeling of theft but thought nothing of it at the time. Less than 30 minutes later the bike is gone, leaving only a professionally dismantled lock and a shatterd helmet in its place. Today I have a new bike, funny how things work out! A few points: At the competition today that I was setting up while the bike got stolen, we set up a Hardship fund and got a nice sum. The insurance should cover the rest. But like I said, funny how things work out! Colm

| "The quickest and easiest way to succeed is to avoid the quick and easy thing to do." Great story. Just had to comment on your quote. It reminds of something that I heard recently: "Things that come easy are never worth having." I'm glad to see that someone else on this forum isn't afraid of hard work. At least in the US, it seems that we've raised a couple of generations that only want the easy way out of everything.
