Karma vs. Law of Attraction

According to the great and wise sage Wabi-sabi, the Law of Attraction is the same thing as (or a part of) the Law of Cause and Effect (Law of Karma). We did not all just discover some new law for our ego to go nuts with.

At the same time your consious mind is making a new car or great sex or whatever, your subconscious mind might be creating opportunities for you to learn humility, compassion, forgiveness or other objectives contrary to you becoming King of the World. Not to say you can't make a new car if it fits into the Grand Plan but maybe those desires you think you really, really want may be working against your souls purpose for being here.

You need to work on the motive for your desires at a deeper level before you waste a lot of effort just messing things up further.

So, now you know.

Basically it is all a recognition of your higher self. Something that is beyond your ego. Creating from the ego sure does work, however it is much more effort and it does not lead to be in flow.

The more you are aware of your intuition and your passion the more you will use your intention to manifest toward this. It is nothing you do, it's just the opposite. You allow to use your mind to express and manifest what's coming from your higher power.

I think LOA is more like a belief system, you ask and you shall receive. It got lots to do with the positve / negative charge you are sending out in the universe. Probably all of you have already heard about it in the book.

More importantly, I think it's about your unconscious mind. About 70% of all the action we take is base on our unconsious mind.

When you focus on your goals, your mind will automatically search for the solutions or even better solutions will come forward to you.

It's all just conceptual modeling anyway; the 'good stuff' will forever lie beyond the intellectual realm, yes?

It's not really superstition. It's a spiritual believe.

Anyway, I'm a bit new to this whole intention-manifestation thing, so can anyone advise me on how to tame my subconscious and keep it from guiding me towards counterproductive actions that produce things like humility, which is a form of weakness? I prefer to take control of my life, and see no benefit in being "put in my place" or conditioned to yield to others, so controlling my subconscious mind may finally purify my mind and lock out any weakness.

Well, the first step is making your subconscious thought patterns conscious. You can do this when you watch your thoughts and don't identify with them anymore. Get more aware. A good practice for it is meditation.

All the systems and ideas we discuss here are thus like the blind men describing the elephant by the parts of it they're holding. Not the best analogy, but I think you'll get what I'm saying.

Indeed. It's the perfect cop-out!

But all semi-kidding aside, there are some concepts that are just impossible for me to imagine, like the idea that there has never been a beginning, you have always existed. It's easy to imagine eternity in the "have no end" directino, but not the other. Almost as hard is it to imagine that there has been a beginning, and there was nothing prior to that.

I like the idea of experiencing instead of just accepting something as fact. It's very Zen
