Default Smart People's Testimonials

Hello Friends,

Hope all is well. I thought it would be fun to start a testimonial thread. I grew up going to church and there was a testimony and praise section of the service. This is when people would get up and testify of something good that had happen to them over the past week.

Submit examples of how you have used the LoA to manifest something that you were wanting. It could be something big. Something small. The purpose isn't to brag about how much you have attracted or how smart you are, but rather as encouragement to others. By telling your story you may inspire someone else to act on their dreams. Here's my first testimony.

The slightest thought can trigger a chain of events. It can really blow your mind when something happens that you remember you had been thinking about.

A couple of nights a week I work at a restaurant to make extra money. I went to work on Wednesday night. I bring a newspaper with the crossword puzzle because it is usually a slow shift. When I got to work, I realized that I had left my wallet at home and didn't even have 35 cents to get the paper. I was bummed.

I went about helping the early crew clean up for shift change. One server left without cleaning up her table so I had to clean it. I was a little annoyed, but there was nothing else to do, so...no big deal.

I picked up the the last plate on the table and guess what was there? 36 cents. An extra penny for good measure. I immediately got the chills. I remembered this quote:

"We our creating our existence with our thoughts"

I just kind of laughed to myself. A simple thought of having the 35 cents triggered the Universe into motion. I don't believe in coincidences anymore. The Universe responded to my thought because nothing obstructed my initial want. Had I gotten upset that I forgot my wallet and let that get to me, these negative thoughts would have trumped my first thought.

These are the little lesson that I am learning everyday. Now that I am conscious of what is around me, it easier to understand that the Universe wants us to be prosperous and to share that prosperity with others. Be thankful for what you have. Give to others, and you will attract the same onto yourself.

Thanks for listening.

Default a little bit out of place...

so, every day at work on my break i take a short walk around the grounds. i always enjoy the weather (no matter what it is!), the trees and birds, the sky...
but it's a short walk and except for the sky, the scenery doesn't change much.

so as much as i enjoy it, one day i was feeling a little restless and unsatisfied as i walked and i thought 'wouldn't it be nice if i could see something different today? something...i don't know...a little out of place, a little unexpected?'

not ten minutes later as i crossed the parking lot on my way back into the building, i walked passed a pickup truck parked in the lot. i had actually taken a couple of steps past it, before what i had seen registered. i turned around and looked again. the pickup had a trailer hitch on the back and someone had taken the head of a baby doll and popped it over the ball on the trailer hitch.

i stared dumbfounded at this baby doll head with the curly blond hair and blue doll eyes gazing back at me. and i had to laugh. 'now that,' i said aloud, 'is something you don't see every day!'

I'm deadly serious about this. Bragging...bragging? So you mean don't say something too awesome, too amazing. Don't say something too unbelievable. Don't be a braggart and say you feel too deluxe. Some poor person might be, what...upset. Or think I'm delusional or lying. When I think about the amazing, absolutely amazing daily stuff in my life I feel awesome. If anyone has problems with that, I should hide it? Play it down, focus on less amazing things...to be more inspired? I see it here, on this site as a huge obstacle to heaps of people. Huge, constant doubts and fear, tiny self confidence, belief, dreams and imaginations. And constant wonder as to why things don't work.

I live in a beachfront mansion, am in unbelievable shape at 50 plus, have a georgeous, inspiring, kind, loving young wife, two kids that make me look on in awe at what they are. I give heaps, mountains, it's so easy and natural, feels so good. I make money in amazing ways. The last beachside mansion I lived in, in Ballina, NSW, over doubled in price in a couple of years, and I sold it in two weeks. When I bought it, it had been on the market for nearly two years at half the price. Do you get it? I'm totally serious, do you get it, what that really means? Anyone with the same frame of mind, could have made $300,000.00, in under two years while they, like me, surfed their guts out, and had a dream holiday life, with their family. Plus, I used the equity to buy an apartment in Mooloolaba which literally paid for itself, and went up by 50%, because of a ridiculous rent back deal I got with the developers...the mind bendingly amazing timing. Meanwhile, my neighbour, slogging his guts out in some job he hates, is lecturing me on not to buy in Mooloolaba, because he did years ago and lost money. Do you get it, mindset... seriously do you get it? The only difference. At the same time, I bumped into a long lost mate, who I had helped out heaps years ago, who couldn't wait to teach me about the sharemarket...bingo, a whole new path, here I am.

And when I left Ballina, I had fixed a guy's 20 year uncurable bad back, another guy's destroyed shoulder, helped a couple live their impossible dream of becoming fitness models, helped a battered, single mom lose tons of weight, for free (3 fully supervised workouts a week in my magnificent private studio for free), and she become like a georgeous amazon, thriving and loving life. I trained another woman, who no one would touch, because she was such a mess, the danger of injury, stroke and heart attack terrified them, and when I left, she was riding her bike, inspired, eating better, and her doctors were amazed. Despite my wife's constant frustration, as she feels it devalue's what I do, I charged peanuts, and heaps of times nothing, because I can't help myself if I see people struggling. Plus, I don't need the money, I'll get all the money I need easily. I ran a weekly school kids fitness session for free. I poured around $200,000 of actual money into that community by being there for two or so years. People used my beachside mansion for their workshops, and I completed my Bachelors Degree in Indigenous Studies. That's a couple of years of my life. Thats what I know LoA is.

When we left, I had letters of sincere thanks, people crying in thanks, friends for life.

So, if that bugs you, if you see it as bragging...do you get it, honestly.

Hey Uplift.

When I said bragging, I meant bragging for the sake of showing off, or setting your worth higher than others because of what one has. Actually what you wrote about is exactly what I was expecting from this thread. I wouldn't consider your words bragging. You have accomplished much and I am happy for you. You've done so by being determined and through helping others and I applaud that. These are the qualities that I was hoping to be an inspiration to others. By sharing, other people can learn from you to change their mindset. Help others. Focus on what you want and it shall be given unto them. So thanks for sharing. I look forward to hearing many more encouraging words.

No worries, honestly, I wanted to make the point, and have had to and am learning this myself, that we are own limits, and to talk about abundance, limitlessness, equalness, and then only believe it is possible for a special few, or that it is a crime, or selfish, or arrogant, or delusional, is self limiting, self denying, self punishing, self disrespectfull. I have told this story before, but I once got a now multi million dollar block of land, for 20,000 dollars, which at the time I borrowed, and which an unemployed person could have afforded. It was sitting under the nose of millionaire abalone divers and farmers. Because of my learning and enthusiasm about LoA, visualising, manifesting and the like, I was in a remarkable situation, and had the belief to simply ask the owner to sell it to me. The rest is history. The millionaires hit the roof, and couldn't believe I, who they felt was undeserving as I had just arrived in town, owned it. People still often don't believe it to this day, when I stand in my boardies and thongs, listening to tourists, 'wow isnt that point over there magnificent, is that the one on all the postcards', and I say, just stoked outa my head, in awe of possibility, 'yeh, its mine, I own it, I picked it up for twenty grand'. And peoples faces often tell what they are thinking. Thats what many people don't get, they honestly don't get why they are where they are...how debilitating that 'yeh right' attitude and belief is. It boils down to fear. All the best.
