...Then who will there be to clean the toilets? How does a world function if everyone just decides to start their own business, and not be employed by someone else? I can only think of the possibility of having robots doing all the labor. Any other suggestions? |

| Those who have a burning desire to keep things clean and tidy. Seriously. Everyone wants different things, and though people's intentions might sound the same (fulfilment, love, respect, yadda yadda) those things are going to be manifested in different ways for different people depending upon those things that make them happiest. |

A few things, scenerios posited like yours seem to say that suddenly, all at one time, over-night, everyone will suddenly start to do that. That's not quite the case. The few people left who would be willing to do that sort of thing, they would be quite expensive (much like it is in the West right now, at the turn of the last century, labour was cheap and rich people had many servants, but only the seriously rich do today, others have maids, but they're still not as cheap as they used to be). However, if the cost of those people became so high that alternatives became cheap (ie, either get a toilet cleaning robot or replacing your toilet to be a self-cleaning one), then people would go for those and thus not need those people anymore. Honestly, though, I call this a fallacy of "all or nothing" thinking. You might want to examine the root cause of it. Frequently its being told at some point that "work sin't supposed to be fun". or that "not everyone can chase their dreams". Good luck! |

The question could be, do YOU want to be the one cleaning the toilets? I sure don't. In addition, would you go up to someone who has that job and say, "hey, I'm so glad there are people like you who clean toilets, otherwise there would be more competition for me in what I do for a living. So, please STAY THERE and be HAPPY." Scarcity-thinking. But yeah, robots are usually the answer to these sort of things. We're already heading into Spielberg's "A.I." so we should adjust accordingly. Edit to add--- everyone already IS using the law of attraction. You can't not use it. |

I know lots of peoplel who have started their own cleaning business. It's what they have a passion for...hard as that might be to understand for the rest of us. I have the crazy idea that if everyone did what they loved and were proficient at, we could move to a cashless society where we all trade our services for whatever we can't do/get for ourselves. |

I agree, cdn! There are 6 billion of us here - just because I (and the small subset of people I know) don't like to clean the toilet, doesn't mean that there isn't someone who may want to do this for whatever reasons they have On the other hand, consider that the people who could design toilet-cleaning robots are currently in the "wrong" job. If everyone used the LoA, they would get their dream jobs and get to make such robots Either way (or in another way that you might not expect), the LoA would ensure that the toilets get cleaned, don't you worry! |

Not everyone has the same aspirations. Not everyone will master the emotional skills to be good at controlling the law of attraction. Not everyone will desire the same things, people, skills, businesses, amount of money, kinds of clothings, cars, destinations, etc. I have a fair amount of money already. If I won the lottery, I wouldn't change my home which is a modest, in this day and age, 1980 sq ft. I don't believe in people taking up massive amounts of planetary footprint even though they can afford to. Nor would I buy a new car if I made a windfall in my business, for example. In fact, with the exception of maybe more travel and a becoming a full time student, I would probably not change much, except how much I give away. That question is usually asked by people not in control of their ego because they can't relate to the fact that not everyone would binge like they would. Jennifer |
