Indeed. I'm going to create that level of belief in myself somehow. I'll use LoA on it! For some reason I didn't think about using LoA on changing beliefs.

Yes, there are those who don't seem to work really hard and seem to have all the luck just drop into their proverbial lap. Then there are others who work their tail off and get nowhere. You probably know people in both camps; I sure do.

Nature doesn't really help either. The top predators, the ones who can be described as "successful" - the lions, the sharks, the bears - are constantly being challenged and stressed. There's no free ride in nature. Even the meekest blade of grass struggles towards the light.

Like you, I use my natural propensity to doubt to my advantage. I re-examine old, long-since-integrated beliefs with a critical eye. It's a process, though, it's not a destination. I struggle with it pretty much every day, in one form or another.

In the second paragraph there, you sound kind of defensive, do you believe that people with lots of money are materialistic or only got it by being materialistic? Third paragraph, you seem to be worried about the fickle nature of wealth, who it picks and how it disappears.

4th paragraph, dunno if I agree with you. Read the Law of Least Effort in Seven Spiritual Laws. A blade of grass does not "struggle" it just grows. I'm finding that I try too hard, which seems kind of weird, instead of just letting go and letting go of trying to control and trusting.

Thanks for the inquiry and the link. I'm familiar with some, though not all, of Dr Chopra's work. I'll try to get a look at this later on.

Point I was trying to make about materialism is that it does get a bad rap sometimes. And I think we've all seen wealth evade those who work hard for it, and fall into the laps of those who don't. Then again, the opposite can also be true. So yes, it appears fickle. That's something that I personally struggle with too, which is OK because that's fodder for growth.

I'm getting seasick from all this change, I think this is the weirdest day of my life, I'm in the middle of it though. I feel like I'm dreaming but I'm just going to trust that everything that is happening is for my greater good, the coincidences and synchronicities, I'm getting whiplash. If you're happy, the only things you can manifest are things that you like. So you never need to worry about what you're thinking, because whatever it is, it will come in a form that will match you. For example, if you're happy, but you have a flash thought about drowning, it might manifest itself in you watching a comedy about falling overboard. If you're more fearful, your thought may manifest in you hearing about a drowning on a local beach. The happier you are, the less "bad" things affect you and the faster the things you like materialize. That's why, when you think of "$2.7 million," if you're not up to the level of energy of $2.7 million, you might only hear about someone else having it. The higher, more light-hearted your thoughts and energy, the closer this will come to home and to reality in your life. You might next get a Publisher's Clearing House "check" in the mail for $2.7 million. If you can become light-hearted and happy enough with this thought in mind, you could actually hold the real check, made out to you, in your hand.

Thanks Joy. This has been the most trippy, insane day of my entire life... and all because of this stuff. If what you say is true, then it's all happening for my own best interest. Just have to stay focused... I'm creating everything. There are no coincidences, so what has happened today, and everything leading up to it, is my own creation, and since I have my best interest at heart, it's lined up with my best interest.

Curious how the day after I post a thread on things happening so quickly from my thoughts, they happen twice as quickly from my thoughts. Christ.

I can believe it, in fact I've experienced what cyclon is going through now, about 7 years ago. Man, things would manifest really, really fast, like instantly... But I don't seem to be experiencing it at the moment (well I am, I just don't seem to be aware of it). I do catch glimpses every now and then (when I "make the connection")...

I'm trying to perceive the naked ladies , but, I can't see them (yet), until I perceive them, right...? But I can think about them... Hummm.

Now, it came up in another thread somewhere that I'm using time as a delay, as I seem to be able to perceive things usually in a day or two, after thinking them... (depending on what it is)...

The connection is not lucid, it is not supposed to be, the joy is in the imperfection. Perfection is boring.

Well twin peaks was an old tv show that was kind of surreal, sort of like the twilight zone. What's bothering me is this developing relationship I have with a chick at work... things are picking up we just haven't actually gone out yet, and I'm thinking that if it goes somewhere we can't work together, because that can be tricky. I'm thinking this on my lunch break and come back and she had gotten fired and gone home. On the same day that another girl I had sort of been involved with, was her last day.

About four hours later I saw the girl on the freeway, just like out of a movie she merged next to me and I drove next to her honking my horn, trying to get her attention. Things have really been picking up with us and I'm worried that her getting fired is the end of it.... even though it doesn't feel like it.

But, whatever. I drive to my friend's house, and another guy cruises over. I had given him a CD of a band that he really wanted a couple months ago, and was thinking how he never really told me if he liked it. When I saw him he told me he heard a new song from the band.

A little later I'm standing outside with my friend, and thinking how I haven't seen any coyotes recently, a few of them scavenge around his neighborhood. Literally that moment, one pops out RIGHT in front of us.

Anyway I don't want BAD things happening to people because of my thoughts. Why would I want someone I care for to lose their job (she did have it coming though, unfortunately)?

Losing a job isn't always a bad thing. Sometimes it's the best thing. Sometimes you've been needing to get off your butt and make a change for awhile but haven't. So the universe gives you a little push in the right direction. So says the voice of experience!
