Bruce Almighty

If you've watched Jim Carrey's movie "Bruce Almighty", there is a part in the movie where he gets to be God. As God, he gets millions of prayer emails. He starts reading them one by one, but he can't keep up. So in the end, he accepts all the prayers. The next day, there are a million lottery winners, etc.. Everything turns into a big mess! Everyone gets what they wanted, but because there were conflicting desires, noone is happy.

IM does not work if everyone has power to manifest anything they desire. It only works if a single entity has the power to manifest because by design this approach eliminates the possible conflicts... Hence Steve's "subjective reality" concept.

The problem is, it is hard to tell if each person has their own subjective world where they get to intend all they want and manifest it all... or we all share the same subjective reality where conflicts are possible.

I tend to think we are all sharing the same one and there is a higher single Being doing all the wishing and manifesting, and the rest of us just act out what He willed.

Why do I think so? Because if I were creating everything intentionally, I would have answers to exactly why everything is the way it is! If I create anything, I do know exactly why I did everything the way I did. When I paint, when I write, when I bake, etc. Even a dream cannot be your "intention" until you are lucid and take full control of it. It is insane to think any omnipotent being would render itself powerless and intentionally forget that it has no control. Instead, it would use its full power to experience what it wants!

I believe there is a single Being that knows it all, sees it all, and intends it all... Religious scripture says a human being has the capacity to ascend to the mind of that Being and experience reality from its perspective, but a person claiming to be that Being sounds pretty ridicilous to me especially when he doesn't have all the answers... even a simple one like "what exactly will happen tomorrow?" Do you know? If you are Almighty, shouldn't you?

The Bruce Almighty movie is the example of all the people manifesting their intentions, just impossible... That's why I have the concept of "Battle of Intentions" or some intentions going against other ones. And these are not created by you. No self-sabotage.

Well, the one thing God can't do is traveling on time, he can't change the past or see the future...
