You want it easy right? A nice life with a degree of challenge, but not so challenging that it's a struggle and painful right? So to have an easy enjoyable life with a few problems here and there to keep it interesting, you would need a belief system or some kind of specific POV that supports that. If you believe that life is supposed to be hard and painful full of dissapointment and heartache for most of the time, then you wouldn't get a very good experience out of that would you. So the way you believe the whole thing works will directly affect how things transpire, so what do you believe?? SR, OR, Religious God, universal consciousness, shared consciousness, singular consciousness? What is the best system to adopt that allows you to live a happy and productive life? Often your belief system will have been thrust upon you by your parents, school, upbringing and then when you grow up, you will start to question how it all works and why it's not working as best it could. LoA and IM aren't so much belief systems but labels for the process of attainment within a sytem of how everything works. LoA and IM can work within just abut every belief system, but they aren't so much the fundamental core of how it works. LoA and IM are your thoughts attracting and manifesting material and non material stuff, but what is the core system underneath or at the source of Loa and IM? Let's take SR as an example........ In SR you are consciousness, it's your true identity and everybody including your own body is a projection of consciousness within a simulation called physical reality. Now you can use LoA and IM within SR, but as everything is you, you're not specifically attracting things to you, you are merely giving yourself something and making it look like it was obtained through work or a gift or the lottery or exercise or love or whatever. No one gives you money in an SR belief system, you give it to yourself and that's the same with everything inside the SR belief system. You create everything and therefore create a perception that someone or something happens that manifests the output. So on a creation/manifestation level SR is probably a good belief system to have, because it would mean there is no real conflict, because it's just you rendering everything into your life through your own creation. If there is conflict, it's within you, not between you and others. There's no victim status in SR, because it's all of your creation, you create everything and therefore it's all your responsibility. But is SR the most empowering belief system??? Only you can define that. Belief systems are like new cars, no matter how good they look and sound, unitl you test drive them, you'll never really know if they are suitable for you. Max |

For me it is making more sense but at the same time, I haven't been able to get over this hurdle that people here are calling solipsism. I'm feeling that if I'm creating everything, then everyone is my puppet and it's just a bunch of inanimate objects I'm playing with. Except I'm not real either. Take for instance personal relationships. The reason they feel so good is because you feel you are connecting with another person, not yourself. But at the same time, you feel you are with your other half, that in reality you really are them and they are you. Freaky. |

When you see yourself as a puppet also, just like everyone in your awareness, then it is better. Your body is just like all the other bodies in awareness, you just have better control over yours, but still have accessible control over others. You start a conversation and the other person joins in, if they start a conversation, you actually started it, but from another angle, another access point or more precisely a different mirror point. A mirror is a good way to sense SR, when you're looking out into the world, you see everything, but never you're eyes, you can never see your eyes. When you look in the mirror, you are creating a persona, like every other persona within your awareness. That image in the mirror is like all the other bodies out there, projections of consciousness, your consciousness. SR is a noodle baker because the shift is intense. As a belief system it can be handy, because the responsibility is paramount. You can't escape responsibility in SR, because it's all of your creation. I suspect that's why people don't like it, but if you accept full responsibility for everything then you can choose create anything for there really are no limits. So as you perceive reality, you're actually creating it. That's a tough one to grasp because it means that creation is taking place in the moment and nowhere else. Max | |
