[This thread is part of 30 Days to Success with Ask and It Is Given] This Moving Up the Emotional Scale process will be of the most value to you when your Emotional Set-Point is ranging somewhere between: (17) Anger and (22) Fear/Grief/Depresion/Despair/Powerlessness According to Ask and It Is Given, as you become more in alignment with Source Energy, your desires begin to manifest. What indicates your degree of alignment with Source Energy is your emotions. Absolute alignment with your own Source Energy means that you know the following: • You are free. • You are powerful. • You are good. • You are love. • You have value. • You have purpose. • All is well. Here is the scale of emotions (emotions indicating the closest connection to Source Energy are listed at the top of the scale): 1. Joy/Knowledge/Empowerment/Freedom/Love/Appreciation 2. Passion 3. Enthusiasm/Eagerness/Happiness 4. Positive Expectation/Belief 5. Optimism 6. Hope 7. Contentment 8. Boredom 9. Pessimism 10. Frustration/Irritation/Impatience 11. Overwhelment 12. Disappointment 13. Doubt 14. Worry 15. Blame 16. Discouragement 17. Anger 18. Revenge 19. Hatred/Rage 20. Jealousy 21. Insecurity/Guilt/Unworthiness 22. Fear/Grief/Depression/Despair/Powerlessness Here is an example of why this process is important: "When you do not have enough money, you want more. But we want you to understand that the distance you will be traveling is not the distance between not enough money to enough money, but instead is the distance between a feeling of insecurity to a feeling of security. Once you practice the thought that makes you consistently feel more secure - the money must follow." You may think you are focusing on what you want, but in reality you are focusing on what you already have that you don't want. "If you will make the improved feeling or emotion be your real destination, then anything and everything that you want will quickly follow." When you recognize that you are feeling a negative emotion, try to identify the emotion. Then, try to identify a thought that gives you relief from that negative emotion - a thought that helps you feel better and helps you move up to the level above the emotion you are feeling. Keep repeating this process as you continue to move up the emotional scale. |

Today I'm at 4, moving into 3. I feel like I'm right on the verge of a breakthrough -- today I realized that I've had it that despite being On Purpose, that is, Boldly Generating and Facilitating Free-Flowing Love and Joy, I am on my own. What's missing that would make a difference is being Family. I am committed to generating being family (and you folks here are no small part of that!), and still there is something niggling at me.... another way of being that would make a difference if I were to generate it. I guess my negative thought is: "I am tense, trying to figure out what that missing thing is." So: my new thought is: "I am excited, and I am enjoying the anticipation of the arrival of breakthrough realization. I trust that the delivery of this bundle of joy will happen at the perfect time. I am pregnant with possibility." I am letting go of: "I need things to happen according to my schedule," because that is not the truth. The truth is: Everything happens at the perfect time, and I am glad. okay. I'm gonna go work out now with enthusiasm, eagerness, and happiness. lots of love, your sister Angela |

I'm really transitioning from 6 to 5. I thought on this, and I feel myself moving from, "I really think things will work," to, "I believe they will." My negative thought is that things still might fail because I am flawed and imperfect, so my positive replacement thought is that I know I am strong enough to work past my weaknesses.

I tried method 22 yesterday, but I don't know if I did it right. Would you please tell me? Yesterday was a great day! I went to dance tango argentino, it's my passion, it always makes very, very, very happy. First training after the summer pause... I intended to learn a lot and learnt a lot. It felt great too. Plus a few nice synchronicities happened, showing me that some of my intentions are on the way to manifest. And as I was cycling on the street with my bike, someone offered me a big, beautiful flower. So, everything great. I've been singing and smiling all day long. Then, at night, I was sitting in the garden alone in the dark, relaxing. And suddenly, I saw an undead guy coming into the garden in front of me! Behind our garden there are dense bushes and trees. He came out of these bushes. He was much taller than any human and shining blue-grey. And he wanted to eat me! I was scared of course and went, trying not to run. Back in my appt, I decided to apply method 22. First I couldn't find any thought. I wasn't thinking at all, it was just an image in my head: this undead coming into the garden, opening his mouth and raising his hands to catch me. This image popped into my mind every thirty seconds, I felt really scared. I had difficulties translating this image to a thought. After a session of EFT, I wrote down "There is a horrible undead in the garden who wants to eat me." And then, with method 22, I wrote down a few thoughts, feeling better and better: There is a horrible undead in the garden who wants to eat me. There is an undead in the garden. (felt much better) I created an undead in the garden. (felt more powerful) I created a great undead, he looks very scary and even shines! (Now I was able to see my creation from some distance and appreciate it) Gee, I'm proud of that gorgeous undead I created! (feeling good) I'm lucky I have such a vivid fantasy so that I am able to create such scary undeads. (no fear any more) I can create nice things too. I have imaginary loving friends and see beautiful, gentle creatures too. (I had forgotten that - felt good to remember) I can create what I want! (feeling poweful) It's great I have such a fantasy. That's fun! (feeling happy) I will do something creative and useful with it some day. (feeling even happier) That's it. I don't know if I did it right, because I didn't follow the scale (anger, disappointment, and so on). but it felt like a miracle I am very happy to learn these methods |

Strange. I'm currently in the 8-10 area for the most part, but I find that I can bounce all the way to 20 with ease, and 21 and 22 seem completely achievable to me if I let myself. Yet, going up to even just 4-7 takes quite a bit of effort, and anything above that pretty much never really happens... I guess going up the scale is more work than going down the scale? Anyone else like this? |
