I know there are a few of us here who practice martial arts and love the transformative nature they have. I'm a long time teacher of the Chinese martial arts of tai chi (taiji), bagua, and xingyi. These arts rely completely on having a relaxed and aligned with gravity posture. This practice is an excellant method of stress reduction. Thanks guys. Standing practice is really one of the big "secrets" of internal Chinese martial arts. At the same time as healing your body, it develops tremendous static power.
