You have to read this story about 86 Year old Marjorie Newlin.In her 70's she decided that she needed to strengthen herself to initally be able to lift 50 LB kitty litter bags by herself,and then over time began to compete(at first reluctantly)at the behest of her trainer.
When I first read this on a gossip blog,I was in awe....and then I was finding myself truly inspired.It makes me so happy to hear about such upliftling things:)

I strongly believe that "getting old" happens when you lose flexibility... flexibility of the body, to a small extent... but, mainly, flexibility of the mind...

So long as you remain open to changes, to new concepts and ideas... willing to try something new... you are still young... but, to the degree that you mind and brain "hardens" you get progressively older...
