Steve talks about it in a recent post. The first I'd heard about it was a couple of weeks ago. Any personal experiences with this? Any good authoritative sources out there on the topic? Thanks!

Dry skin brushing is great in the morning and gives a nice rush of energy. The skin looks better after a while. I never had the discipline to stick with it, but all I can say, is that it is a great ritual. A lot of people swear by it, and I believe it has been advocated by many health practitioners. |

A girl I know does this with the edges of relatively blunt scissors once a day. She has absolutely beautiful skin and she swears by the technique. Bit risky though I suppose, putting scissors near your eyes and that. |

Anyway , I red about this dry brushing after jbischke's post, and I can see it's highly recommended on a lot of web sites. And I haven't find a negative feedback about this. So I think I'll give it a go.

Here is what I found on one of this web sites: "Do NOT wet Skin, since it will NOT have the SAME Effect, because this stretches the Skin". Maybe because of the pores, or something... They all say do not wet the skin or the brush, so it has to have some effect. here are a few: Dry Skin Brushing Skin : Women Beauty Center University There are tones of other web sites on this method, so it must be something in it...
