| Maybe someone can help me figure this out or point me in the right direction. For a week or so now I've had a funny taste on the right side of my mouth. Kind of metallic or salty. I had a surface cavity in a tooth in that area, and thought that might be it, but I had that filled (with composite filling) on Tuesday, and the taste persists. Dentist said abcess unlikely, but he didn't do any tests (are there tests for that?) Now there's an increase in saliva coming from that area, and it gets worse as the day progresses. I have no amalgam fillings. There's no pain or sensitivity in any of the teeth on this side of my mouth. I'm not taking any prescription meds. No recent major changes in diet. Don't smoke. |
