Default Adults Eating Babyfood???

O.k. guys, tell me if I'm out of line talking about this. Do adults eat baby food? I've noticed the ingredients while feeding my 7 month old baby today on the jar of her baby food. They contained, peas, beans, carrots, water, and nothing else. There of course were no grams of fat, 2 grams of fiber, and 2 grams of sugar. There were no preserveratives. There were 20 mg of sodium though. I tasted it and it tasting pretty bland. I'm sure someone could get use to eating baby food as a substititue for a meal or two a day. A jar would be easy to store, carry around, and microwave on the run.
Did I mention that they are cheap too. You can sometimes find these jars at discount stores for .25 cents.
So, am I out of line talking about this or does there seem to be some merit to what I am saying. It's not like eating dog food.

If all you eat is, "peas, beans, carrots, water, and 2 grams of fiber, and 2 grams of sugar" you wont live very long...

I might be wrong here but I'm pretty sure a tin of baby food would be a much healthier snack than a chocolate bar - just for comparissons sake...
I wouldn't go so far as using it as a meal replacement though.

I thought the same thing, Amadeus, when my son was still eating baby foods. The truth is, however, that there is plenty available for adults that doesn't contain ingredients that sound like the food was made in a chemistry lab. You just have to seek it out. I've been eating Dannon Natural yogurt, for instance, which has a short, easy to understand ingredient list with no corn syrup or preservatives. Eating raw veggies for snacks helps too as does cooking your own food from scratch.
