I read this in a book by Richard Wiseman (an English pop psychologist). If you want to eat better, eat less and have more awareness about the food you're eating then do it in front of a mirror. I know - it sounds crazy to eat in the bathroom or your bedroom so the only sensible solution is to install the mirror by the family dinner table! We did this and I've noticed the change. The first time it was weird and awkward and I was very awkward chewing with this big mirror there but after a few days I noticed that: - I ate slower - I chewed more carefully - I got full sooner - I made smarter decisions eating Now - if only they had more mirrors at Cold Stone Creamery! -Alexa |
