Default Physio therapy for knees

About an year ago, my knees started hurting for no reason. When I went to the Doctor, she said it could be due to calcium deficiency. She also told me a simple exercise that helps strengthen the muscles around the knees. I have been doing it and not I am pain free. Wanted to share it so that people with knee problems can give it a try.

Sit on the edge of a bed or chair such that your legs are dangling. Sit straight. Keep your hands on your knees. Now slowly raise your legs so that they are horizontal, hold them few seconds and then slowly bring them down. Raise your legs only as much as it is comfortable without any strain. Repeat this as many times as you can and want.

Thanks cachy! My knees don't hurt, but they have felt really weak for the last few years. I'll walk up a flight of stairs and my knees will feel like they are going to give out on me. I don't care for it much.

May be this will help though!
