i have never really exercised in my life before. im 6 foot 2 230 pounds 17 years old. im trying to get my metabolism up mainly by running but im starting from absolute nothing. whats the best way i can start getting faster metabolism and maybe be able to run farther

Add muscle from weightlifting and eat 5-6 small meals daily. Add daily cardio and clean up your diet. If your calories get low make sure to have 1 day each week where you carb-up and eat more calories. It doesn't mean have a full out cheat day but rather eat lots of good calories. Long periods of low calories, even if you do everything else correctly, can still slow your metabolism. |
