Anyone know if the barefoot shoes (Vibrams, Vivos or Merrells) are good for plantar faciitis? I have a pretty bad case of it, it has been over 7 months and it is still painful. I know you are supposed to have arch support for PF, and I am a bit worried not having it. Does anyone have any knowledge about this? xo |

My personal recommendation is for Invisible Shoes. You can find them here: Huaraches Barefoot Running Sandals of the Tarahumara Indians | InvisibleShoe.com I own a pair and I love them. The few problems I had with them are easily solved with their new design. I would recommend the 6mm Contact to start off with. If you don't have ready access to a leather punch, then I would suggest getting the ready-made set. I cut my own holes with a drill bit, and the roughness of the hole wore my laces prematurely. | |
