Could anyone give me any suggestions on how to overcome severe fatigueness? I am always tired. Overwhelming tired. I never have enough energy to do anything. I am always in the daze, unable to concentrate, and barely able to comprehend basic things. I've been like this for over five years. I had a physical done and everything looked okay according to my physician. I jog at least three to four times a week. I try to eat as healthy as possible. I take vitamins daily. I try to sleep at least eight hours a night, but to no avail, I still wake up tired. I am so tired of being tired and fatigue! It is ruining my life!! |

My daily diet normally consist of three to six medium to small size meals per day. I stop eating pork and fast foods because I thought maybe that was the problem, but still no change. I eat at least one to two fruits and/or vegetables per day. The only thing I can think of is maybe my sugar intake. I do eat alot of refined foods such as ice cream, and mainly desserts at least three to four times a week. I no longer eat whites (bread, rice, etc) though. Really not sure what the problem could be. your probably due for another detox since you eat all that crap. You may also have a gluten allergy..stay away from ALL grains. I would suggest switching to a raw whole food diet. Go buy all your fav fruits, veges and nuts & eat the ♥♥♥♥ out of them. Do this for a few weeks and report back lol(the first few days your energy will be kinda low but dont give up) Last edited by IvyW; 12-10-2011 at 02:31 AM. |

| Did you ever do drugs when you were younger? / Are you doing any of these now? Even things that are not considered serious.. Alcohol, Nicotine, Caffeine and Prescriptions. (Please, don't assume its okay, just because it isn't mentioned All of these will take their toll on your energy. Some appear to give it to you, but will eventually fade your natural spirit. I was experiencing chronic fatigue for a while in my life.. I was sleeping about 12 hours a day and it was still difficult to get up... It felt like the day was going by so fast and I couldn't keep up with my life. Well, everything changed when I decided to become as healthy as I could. I felt a little better at first, but I completely recovered after I took it seriously. To recover: I stopped all drugs. (No Soda, Coffee, Tea, Beer/Wine, Cigarettes, etc.) I started only eating Organic Raw Food. (I recommend, you only eat 75% Raw Fruits and 25% Vegetables, I count nuts as fruit!) I started water fasting regularly, 3 day fasts at least twice a month. (I recommend, you make water fasting a regular part of your lifestyle) I started walking 2 to 3 times a week, between 2 - 4 miles at a time. (I hope you will believe that these simple changes will make a big difference in your life) Now: I only need about 6 hours of sleep average and even when I sleep only 4 hours I can jump out of bed full of energy and vitality. I haven't been sick in over 5 years, not even with a common cold, or soar throat. As soon as I feel anything coming, it doesn't stand a chance against: 100% Pure Squeezed Orange Juice and Water Fasting... The day is long.. once again and I have regained control of my life. Most of all, I feel like myself again. Last edited by waterfast; 12-10-2011 at 04:04 AM. |

I guess, I need to get stricker with my diet regimen. I try to eat healthy, but honestly, I still eat alot of sweets. That has been the hardest thing for me to give up. I gave up fastfoods, red meats, pork, but sweets I cannot stay away from. I have a craving for sweets everyday. I will need to gain the will-power and stop eating junk foods. Thank you for your advice.

If you would like a significant improvement, from a 4 stage approach: 1st Stage, stop the intake of Drugs: Stop drinking your Tea, Coffee and any Soda, withdraw from Caffeine all together. 2nd Stage, cut out the Junk: Also, immediately stop eating any Junk Food and Fast Food. And immediately stop eating Salt, White Sugar, Spices, Oil. 3rd Stage, leave out the Saturated-Fat Food: Then, make an attempt to stop eating any Dairy and Meat, at least for a period of time so you can see how you feel without them, as it will be better, once you get used to staying away from them. As each of these things is removed from your diet, you will feel better without them individually, and continue to improve until they are all removed. This what you are left with: Do some exercise regularly and start eating only Fruits and Veggies. 4th Stage: At this point, do not congratulate yourself yet, you will need to do a few 3 day water fasts in order to detox from what the junk has put into your body. After all this is initiated you should feel more energy coming back to you. Please be patient with this life style as your body needs time to heal, you will need to continue this for at least 3 months in order to be able to look back and understand the difference of who you were and how much better the new you can really be. The best way to go about it that I have found, is to speed up the process of going into ketosis, down to only 24 hours instead of the normal 72 hours. This will take out the hunger temptations that are associated with this period. And will allow you to detox more quickly, as the burning of fat will begin right away. The way you do this is by exercising for a minimum of 2 1/2 hours on the 1st day of the fast. You just need to go for a walk that lasts this length of time. It will be between 5 to 6 miles. This will burn up all your carbohydrate reserves on the 1st day and switch you over to burning fat (ketosis) and begin your detoxification. I have personally done this more than 12 different times and achieved the results that I am describing to you every time. You can prove that this is true to yourself, by simply purchasing some keto stix at your local pharmacy store and testing yourself after you have completed the exercise. The latest that you will need to wait in order to be able to detect ketones will be the following morning after waking up. This will be within 24 hours of having started your water fast. I would like to know if you went out and did exercise as well and if so, I would recommend you get the keto stix I mentioned so that you can confirm that the exercise helped you get to ketosis more quickly. We will help you along the way until you feel better.

All things diet considered, which by the way seems to be addressed ok, I would like to suggest looking at your day to day lifestyle outside of nutrition as well. Do you have a stressful and highly demanding life? Are you overly busy? Are you bombarded by excess noise and stimulation like tv, radio or internet? Do you get any time in the day to stop and just rest? And how are you emotionally?(outside of how you feel about your energy) There are many ways to manage our energy. That said, I would add that, if you have just made a diet change cutting out refined carbs, meat and now ingesting more fresh foods, your body may have side effects as it is adapting to the new diet. If you are used to relying on the energy source from processed carbs, your body has to adjust. Same thing with meats. Your body is adjusting to relying on less iron. Basically, the diet changes are good but you need to be patient with the adaptation. Another thing to check for is candida. Though that might have been cleared in you blood test, but i've heard that a candida clearing detox can bring back a lot of energy. Look into it. I hope you find the right answers. |

First take some nutritional supplements, after taking these supplements if you feel the same, then better go for parasite cleanser becasue your stomach may contain some harmful parasites which usually these symptoms. And most importantly it is always better to go for a medical check up.

| You've got classic symptoms of hypothyroidism. If you have it and don't address this issue, nothing else will help. No one knows how many Americans have hypothyroidism, it may be 20 or 30 million, because it usually goes undiagnosed. There are over 50 different health symptoms that could be a sign of a hypothyroid condition. Hypothyroidism is rising rapidly due to the abundance of endocrine-disrupting toxins in our environment: BPA, fluoride, bromine, chlorine, dioxins, PCBs, EMFs, etc. from chriskresser.com: An estimated 20 million Americans have some form of thyroid disease. Up to 60 percent of these people are unaware of their condition. One in eight women will develop a thyroid disorder during her lifetime. Levothyroxine, a synthetic form of thyroid hormone, is the 4th highest selling drug in the U.S. 13 of the top 50 selling drugs are either directly or indirectly related to hypothyroidism. The number of people suffering from thyroid disorders continues to rise each year. Hypothyroidism is one of the most common thyroid disorders. One recent analysis suggested up to 10% of women over 60 have clinical or subclinical hypothyroidism. It is characterized by mental slowing, depression, dementia, weight gain, constipation, dry skin, hair loss, cold intolerance, hoarse voice, irregular menstruation, infertility, muscle stiffness and pain, and a wide range of other not-so-fun symptoms. In fact, every cell in the body has receptors for thyroid hormone. These hormones are responsible for the most basic aspects of body function, impacting all major systems of the body. Thyroid hormone directly acts on the brain, the G.I. tract, the cardiovascular system, bone metabolism, red blood cell metabolism, gall bladder and liver function, steroid hormone production, glucose metabolism, lipid and cholesterol metabolism, protein metabolism and body temperature regulation. For starters. You can think of the thyroid as the central gear in a sophisticated engine. If that gear breaks, the entire engine goes down with it. Last edited by stanmrak; 12-21-2011 at 05:30 PM. |
