Taking vitamins everyday is not a good idea. if you are eating healthy all those vitamins becomes excessive and toxic to your body. It tires your liver and other digestive organs, and throws your body off..too much for your body to handle and clean. Like it is mentioned jogging or too much exercise is not good either because we are not build for that. We suppose to run fast but short distance, climb and swim short distances just for survival, like running from a bear to survive. So running miles and miles is not something we are built for so our bodies can't take it that is why there is a lots of soreness or sports injuries people suffer...I don't find it healthy
You may find Mark Sisson's Primal Blueprint helpful and interesting.
Oh and also don't forget the most important thing;Sun. I just look at sun my eyes closed for couple minutes and feel recharged everyday. I used to feel just like you described for a long time ...went to doctors, had lab works..nothing came up.I know how it feels...just turning back to basics made my life quality completely different. Fresh water, sun, nature, raw food, meat from grass fed animals. This is the life real life force. Not vitamins, caffeine, packaged food and high sugar soda. When I have these I feel difference right away.
Good luck

May be I am depressed because this cycle has been for over five years no matter what health changes I make to help me feel better nothing works. I keep hearing meditation will help my energy level, I may have to start that.
Might I add that meditation may also give you back energy by creating a space for you to clear your focus of any distractions and allowing yourself to be aware of the thoughts and feelings that are within to come up. Simply making a point to stop and observe or listen to both your thoughts and feelings can help release a lot of tension that your energy may be rapped up in.

Also, as mentioned, you might be so used to expecting to feel like you have no energy, so you look for how you lack it. I suggest that you start looking for times and ways in which you do have energy and place your awareness there. Relate to those moments more. Its not about tricking yourself. We all have moments of energy and fatigue, its just a matter of which we choose to invest our attention to.

Hi,

How long have you been so tired? Have you considered that you might have 'Chronic Fatigue Syndrome' (also known as ME)? Labels like this aren't always helpful but there's a lot of good information to be found about it, if you think you're situation is similar. If you still struggle with symptoms have a look whether it's related to this kind of thing.

A supplement that helps the body to produce energy is D-Ribose. I don't understand the science behind it but it has something to do with the way the mitochondira in cells produce energy. I've found it to be quite helpful. There's an interesting book by Jacob Titelbaum called 'From Fatigued to Fantastic', (parts of it available on Google books for free) which you may want to read.

best wishes in your recovery!

That is another weakness, cheese. I love cheese! I no longer drink milk, but cheese I cannot resist.

But I guess I will need to change my eating habits if it is the only way I will feel better. Starting tomorrow I will do a water fast for three days. Wish me luck.
Please provide us with an update on the progress of your water fast.

I would like to know if you went out and did exercise as well and if so, I would recommend you get the keto stix I mentioned so that you can confirm that the exercise helped you get to ketosis more quickly.

We will help you along the way until you feel better.

Thanks, but unfortunately I already failed. Day one after nine hours of no food, I was striving and gave in. I know I need to fast though. There are so many benefits. Tomorrow I will try again. Wish me luck! And I will definitely keep you posted.

Thanks Peri. I suppose I need to discipline myself more than I have. I am hoping to reach the point where you are at and regain my energy.

Hahaha, you are making me cry, please help yourself and try again.

Alright, the reason I started looking for a way to increase the speed of ketosis, is for this very situation,
because I was looking to make the transition as easy and comfortable as possible.

It really doesnt get any easier. Let me reiterate by comparison.

In order to Reach Ketosis...

Normal Water Fast: (72 hours for Ketosis)
3 Days no food, no exercise, accompanied by a lot of emotional and physical hunger.

My Easy Water Fast: (24 hours for Ketosis)
Day 1: Eat x2-x3 Oranges for Breakfast. Walk 5-6 Miles. Minimum Hunger.

As you can see, you can even eat on the 1st day of the Water Fast!
How much easier can it get that you are allowed to eat something, even it if has to specifically be Fresh Fruit, you can't complain about getting something to eat right?

Sure enough, so long as you also Exercise a 5-6 Mile walk on the same day, and drink 8 glasses of water, you will be able to wake up the next morning, IN KETOSIS, and from there, the hunger will be minimal.

Once you are in Ketosis, the hunger disappears because your body is already burning Body Fat for Energy.

Getting there in one day, therefore allows you to skip the hunger phase and makes it easy for you to water fast another 2 days for a total of 3 days or however much longer you would like to do each water fast for.

I would certainly be happy and proud of you to hear that you are able to do this tomorrow.
I am looking forward to hearing that you have started feeling better after you complete your first 3 day water fast.

When I'm tired it's usually because I'm not drinking enough. I notice a BIG difference in energy when I drink enough water. I'd highly recommend drinking more water, and staying away from coffee and soda.

Also, eat more raw food. I've been a vegan for a long time, but I notice a big difference when I eat 100% raw.

I am so tired of being tired and fatigue! It is ruining my life!!

First take some nutritional supplements, after taking these supplements if you feel the same, then better go for parasite cleanser becasue your stomach may contain some harmful parasites which usually these symptoms. And most importantly it is always better to go for a medical check up.

This sounds very similar to me years ago and I can't say for sure but through trial and error in diet I eliminated wheat (basically gluten) and dairy, I'm guessing it was kind of allergy related because my seasonal allergies also got much better. It's not easy to do but when I slip off diet symptoms start to return and yes drink insane amounts of water, green tea is energizing, check out a yoga asana routine.

You may want to get checked for hyper/hypo glycemia. Take care.

Fatigue is a lingering tiredness that is constant and limiting. With fatigue, you have unexplained, persistent, and relapsing exhaustion.

You've got classic symptoms of hypothyroidism. If you have it and don't address this issue, nothing else will help. No one knows how many Americans have hypothyroidism, it may be 20 or 30 million, because it usually goes undiagnosed. There are over 50 different health symptoms that could be a sign of a hypothyroid condition. Hypothyroidism is rising rapidly due to the abundance of endocrine-disrupting toxins in our environment: BPA, fluoride, bromine, chlorine, dioxins, PCBs, EMFs, etc.

from chriskresser.com:

An estimated 20 million Americans have some form of thyroid disease. Up to 60 percent of these people are unaware of their condition. One in eight women will develop a thyroid disorder during her lifetime. Levothyroxine, a synthetic form of thyroid hormone, is the 4th highest selling drug in the U.S. 13 of the top 50 selling drugs are either directly or indirectly related to hypothyroidism. The number of people suffering from thyroid disorders continues to rise each year.

Hypothyroidism is one of the most common thyroid disorders. One recent analysis suggested up to 10% of women over 60 have clinical or subclinical hypothyroidism. It is characterized by mental slowing, depression, dementia, weight gain, constipation, dry skin, hair loss, cold intolerance, hoarse voice, irregular menstruation, infertility, muscle stiffness and pain, and a wide range of other not-so-fun symptoms.

In fact, every cell in the body has receptors for thyroid hormone. These hormones are responsible for the most basic aspects of body function, impacting all major systems of the body. Thyroid hormone directly acts on the brain, the G.I. tract, the cardiovascular system, bone metabolism, red blood cell metabolism, gall bladder and liver function, steroid hormone production, glucose metabolism, lipid and cholesterol metabolism, protein metabolism and body temperature regulation. For starters.

You can think of the thyroid as the central gear in a sophisticated engine. If that gear breaks, the entire engine goes down with it.

One of the primary causes of a hypothyroid condition is an autoimmune disease called Hashimotos. Gluten intolerance is a key factor in this. As it turns out, the molecular structure of gluten is virtually identical to thyroid tissue. When your immune system reacts to gluten in your system as a foreign invader, it also attacks your thyroid as well. This may be why you feel much better when you avoid gluten.
