Default Hypertension / High Blood Pressure

Have you or some one you know managed to reduce high blood pressure through natural means? Like diet change, exercise, special foods etc? or alternative medicine? Please share your first hand experience.

I have a friend who got his blood pressure back into the normal range by:

a) losing 20 lbs., which got him to a recommended weight
b) cutting back on fatty food
c) cutting back on salt
d) reducing alcohol intake
e) swimming daily

I would only add regular physical activity to this list. The same list can be used, when your blood sugar is high.

Try Earthing while you sleep! Takes no effort. One of the contributors to metabolic diseases such as high blood pressure may be the fact that your body never gets grounded to the earth in order to restore its natural electrical balance. See more: Health Benefits of Earthing

Meditation works wonders on your system. Its great for dealing with stress and hypertension. You feel a great calm after getting into it. Maybe try a guided meditation if your new to the idea..

Water fast regularly, 3 day fasts at least twice a month.

Walk 2 to 3 times a week, between 2 - 4 miles at a time.

Doing all of these things will lower your blood pressure

All the suggestions are excellent.
Reduce the salt you put while cooking gradually. Your goal should be add no salt or minimum.
