Have you or some one you know managed to reduce high blood pressure through natural means? Like diet change, exercise, special foods etc? or alternative medicine? Please share your first hand experience.

I have a friend who got his blood pressure back into the normal range by: a) losing 20 lbs., which got him to a recommended weight b) cutting back on fatty food c) cutting back on salt d) reducing alcohol intake e) swimming daily |

No Soda, Coffee, Tea, Beer/Wine, Cigarettes, etc. No Salt, Refined Sugar, Spices, Oil/Hydrogenated Oil/Butter/Margerine. Avoid Bread, Dairy, Eggs & Meat. Only eating Organic Raw Food. 75% Raw Fruits and 25% Vegetables, I count nuts as fruit! Water fast regularly, 3 day fasts at least twice a month. Walk 2 to 3 times a week, between 2 - 4 miles at a time. Doing all of these things will lower your blood pressure Last edited by waterfast; 12-10-2011 at 06:24 AM. |
