make small goals.. say "i wont drink coffee after 9am" if u still have coffee in ur cup after 9 throw it out. Drink only water for the rest of the day.. Do that for a week.. for week 2 say 8am & so on..

When most people try to quit cold turkey they end up drinking twice as much.

Two major choices that i can think of. You can continue going "cold turkey" as they say and endure the withdrawal symptoms for a little longer (i believe it should last through about 3 total days or so) or you can wean off gradually in such a way as to minimize these effects by maybe have 2 cups for 3-7 days then 1 cup for that duration before stopping completely. Since you're probably half way there already, if it was me i would probably keep doing what you're doing .

Caffeine can be a pretty serious addiction. It's a strong central nervous system stimulant, and you get dependent on it. I'm betting you've got a hell of a headache that won't go away, and you can't concentrate and feel like someone sucked all your energy out of your body, right?

The good news is that the initial withdrawl symptoms only last a few days. You've made a great start, so stick with it.

After that, take up drinking decaf coffee. It tastes fine (honestly, it does, and it's decaffeinated with water, so it doesn't have some weird chemicals in it or anything).

If you really want to ease yourself into quitting, try half and half (coffee mixed with decaf).

Been there, and the headaches were horrible, but you'll get through it

Good luck!

I think giving up coffee is the best thing you can do!
I am drinking a cup now. but it;s only because
my family makes it!
But after it's gone I like to drink ginsing,
it's give you real energy and it's much more healthy.

Try it instead of coffee. I suggest the Yogi Green Tea Energy.
It's less expensive, but still packs a punch in energy!
