Post Day 1 of my 14 day water fast!!!

Hey, so this is day one of my 14 day water only fast and the time is now 10:10am. I have been up with my baby girl since 06:45 and have felt quite hungry at times. I will not give in to food though! Theres a saying 'nothing tastes as good as skinny feels.' Will keep posting through my journey for people who are wishing to try this to see how i get on. I'm very determined to complete this. Post again later :-)

12:47pm, hunger has gone from this morning, feeling better now. It's only day one and i know its going to be hard the first few days. Had a green tea this morning and a glass of water. Anyone know how much water i should consume each day during my fast?

Best to drink as little as possible and only when genuinely thirsty for optimal results. This could mean zero water in a day or 2 gallons or anything in between, but keeping in mind that the less we drink without allowing thirst to become too strong, the better. As a side note, the body produces about 1.1 liter of water of it's own each day while fasting.

Just throwing this out there, but a fast is ideal where nothing but water is consumed. Tea will interfere with the optimal process and may also tend to keep the sensation of hunger from going dormant.

All the best .

So you're going to fast for 14 days and no foods. Or they'll be a specific time you'll be eating everyday?

Do a juice fast. Your going to fail the water fast again. You had tea your first day of your water fast! you are not suppose to do that when water fasting. A juice fast is easier and you will have a better chance at succeeding.

I thought green tea was ok? As it has 0 calories in it and is a slimming aid. Oh well, i wont be drinking green tea again. What kind of juices do i need to drink though and it would cost a fortune doing that for weeks lol

Buy whats in season. Make sure you like it though. mix & match differnt fruits & veges. my fav recipe is spinach, grape fruit, & orange. When i juice i will make about 5 mason jars worth of juice a day. The amount you need though is entirely up to your body, just listen to it. You can find different recipes online.

after juicing you can try water fasting again.. im almost half way with my water fast and im extremely bitchy (according to my husband, poor guy!) and its not easy. I will probably never do this again, if you know you will probably fail at it just stay away from it. this one day fast & then eating & drinking a bunch of ♥♥♥♥ after will just screw your body up. Juicing for a few weeks is way more achievable. good luck.
