Yeah, if you do it for a year and do it right. I would look into steroids if you have the money

you definitely can lose 100lbs by the end of 2012. as long as you stay 500-1000 cal deficit. You will lose the first 20-30pounds fairly quickly. keep in mind though it takes commitment and you need to be on top of diet and exercise.

Yes, p90x can work for that. 100 lbs is a lot to lose, but if you can measure your progress and stick with it everyday, I don't see why it couldn't work. That said, diet is going to be more important for losing weight than the workouts. Look up the calories burned in various exercises and do the math. It takes a lot to burn just a few calories, so the most effective part of the puzzle is cutting calories consumed. P90x comes with meal plans that are your standard weight loss type.

I would avoid this as steroids increase appetite and weight gain.

I seriously doubt that anyone who is 100lbs overweight will be able to do the P90X exercises at all.

so negative! lol

I think he can do it. of course it will be tough.. what the heck is the point of working out if its not going to be tough? I know a couple guys that are actually heavier then him get through it and made great results.

imo its more of a beginners program & will definitely help you get addicted to working out.

No, I think Curtis is being fair. You will not be able to do most of the exercises in the beginning. That doesn't matter though.

"Every day just show up and push play. Do your best and forget the rest."

The point is if you work out the best you can for an hour a day, you will see results. That first week is going to be pretty brutal for you though.

I seriously recommend starting a daily exercise routine immediately to help soften the blow when you do start p90x. There's a "fit test" they have you pass ideally before you start.
