I plan on drinking any liquid really on this fast, mostly juices (I don't have a juicer, so I'll just buy pure juice from the store). I want to develop discipline as well as end my emotional eating. I've done many fasts in the past, but none as long as this. Tracking my progress will help keep me accountable. You can tell me this is not healthy/I won't last, but life is about taking risks. I've done research on this, and the benefits outweigh the negatives. I plan on eating home made veggie soups/smoothies just in case I need to for whatever reason. I don't plan on weighing myself because I'm not focused on weight loss. This is more of a mental thing. I want to learn to deal with my emotions rather than turning to food, such as stress or boredom. Ah yes, I'm 20 and female just in case you were wondering. Many have lost weight on drinking fruit juices alone and some on smoothies. It's best to buy fresh fruit juices if you have that option |

I'm going to Costco to buy more carrot juice tomorrow. as well as chicken broth. EDIT: Ugh I just told my mom that I finished a day of liquid fasting and her response was: "I thought you started last week." To me this is a great accomplishment, but oh well, I'm not doing this for anyone but me. I find that when I stress, I think of food. This is something I need to overcome: emotional eating.
