I started to read on this site about becoming vegan or vegetarian. When I read that you could get a lot more energy throught the day I really wanted to try it out for 30 days just to get my feet wet. The only reason I havent yet is because I didn't know how to do it safely. (ei. get all the right vitamins and other things that are needed by the body.) I was just wondering if any one had any information on how to become a vegan at the age of 16. Also does any one have any ideas on how to tell your parents?

Grab a copy of Becoming Vegan by Brenda Davis. It has a list of the nutrietns you need and the foods to get them from. And it has a section on transitioning to veganism. Check out Vegetarianteen.com Online Magazine | Everything you ever wanted to know about veg teen life...by teens for teens. for info as well.
