Hello everybody,

I need to find an oncologist in the Toronto area who is a supporter of alternative therapies(diet, meditation etc).

I use to be in this area but left it many years ago. Here's what I would suggest. The key cancer centres in the Toronto area would be Princess Margaret Hospital and the one at Sunnybrook. Two groups of people who would likely know who is who in the scene would be;

1) The oncology residents - these are the oncologists in training who already have their MDs. Since they get exposed to many of the staff oncologists, they could likely give you an idea on the different styles of each staff specialist.

2) The drug reps who call on oncologists - for a time, this was the area I was in. Most experienced drug reps get to know key oncologists in terms of their treatment habits after time. They might be able to also tell you who is who as well.

Using a combo of these two groups might be able to confirm findings.
