Could this oversleeping be the result of coffee?

Sleep! Cycles! Are! 90! Minutes! Long! You are trying to wake up 30 minutes before the end of the sleep cycle. It is not oversleeping. Either cut the second nap by 60 minutes or add 30 minutes to it.

My naps is 90 minutes, my core is 4:30 hours long.

Oops, my core is actually 1:30am
Also my nap is the one where I have trouble waking up.

Other than the obvious of "you are trying to sleep too little" and "caffeine will not help you avoid sleep in the long run", here is a question. Are you doing anything exciting (worth doing) after the nap, or are you just forcing yourself to stay awake while doing something boring? Also, it might help to get your nap in the actual daytime as the sunlight helps awake you, while darkness does the opposite.

Well firstly I drink coffee for the euphoric effect of it and secondly, I'm usually on the computer so most the time I'm alright. Its just waking up thats a pain.

Weird sleep cycles happened all the time when I was addicted to coffee, lol.

I remember being in bed before an exam for school with my heart pounding and then barely getting 2-3 hours of sleep.

Yeah, I woke up yesterday at 9pm when I was supposed to wake up at 6pm, I just really hope this will stop soon.

Damnit, overslept on my NAP by 3 hours, woke up at 9, which was when my core sleep started, so had to sleep through it.

Coffee will screw up biphasic sleep patterns in 99% (made-up statistic) of people. Many studies have been done regarding the effects of caffeine on one's circadian rhythm. One of those studies said that consuming coffee after 9am can have a significant effect. Of course the 9am is assuming an average sleep pattern. If you must drink coffee, drink it as early in the morning as possible. Drink no more than 6-8 ounces, which by the way is about half of a normal-sized coffee mug. Or, if you really want to succeed at biphasic sleeping, just stop drinking coffee. Meditation can give you a euphoric feeling, especially once you start getting into advanced techniques. It beats any drug out there.

Awesome, thanks Fire, so this is the primary cause for me not waking up, even with an alarm?

You can not make rules that apply to everyone equally, as EACH of us is unique.
For example, my sleep-cycles are typically 55-60 minutes.
And I don't drink caffeinated drinks.
