Exclamation zero energy.100% lethargy.

I have no energy, epecially when I come back from school.
I just feel like so bahhh.
And right now I need all the energy I can get, it's the last year of school- need to actively search for universities, socialize, and say goodbye to this period on my life. I don't want it to be a drowsy wave. I want it to be memorable, light, and vital !

I eat aloottt( mostly junk )
I bareelyy exercise ( too lazy )
my bmi is 22, so I'm not fat..

help!

You've already IDed some of the main causes of your problem. Change these two and you will do much better. Now on top of that, just in case, I would also suggest that you see your doctor. He/she might do a blood test just to see where your blood levels are to check if there is any iron deficiencies. If this is the case, it is also a contributing factor to your drowsiness.

I bet if you worked on changes to these two things, you'd see a big difference.

Start small. Any meal or snack, before you eat anything else - have a piece of fresh fruit or vegetable. And figure out a way to get 15 minutes of exercise into your day - walking more, doing jumping jacks while you are waiting for your computer to boot up, whatever it takes.

And deep breathing will help too.

You will likely see a difference in about 3 weeks of applying consistent changes.

Good luck!

These are your problems. Fix these two things and you will have lots of energy.

Also, eat lots of fruit. Fruit is your friend when you want energy.

Stop eating junk and processed foods, replace them with healthy, whole foods such as fruits and vegetables, exercise moderately at least a few times a week, and you will gradually begin to feel great again and have oodles of limitless energy.

School is energetically draining on it's own, in addition to everything else. My first public school was a dreary dungeon, and it didn't help that we were all just inmates in the asylum (ref: John Taylor Gatto).

I suggest adding coconut products to your mix of junk food. These have the right kind of fat to sustain energy. The grocery stores I go to have some nice coconut candy bars - the kinds in the natural food section will probably be better.

hth,
James

Medjool (or deglet noor) dates. Pitted, filled with shredded coconut.
Pure, concentrated energy, and the good fats to sustain it.

I really identify with alot of what you're saying. I just ended school (finally) myself.

Most all schools are about "following" rather than leading. It is just the harsh reality of the world that you are constantly being pushed from all directions into that follower role.

This is compounded by the fact that you are on these forums. Some more than others are square pegs constantly being shoved into a round hole. You are one of these people.

So I would say get involved, join Toastmasters, lead a club, eat Raw Foods (I am biased though, haha). Generally KICK SOME ASS and you will get over this nonsense.

I went through many stages of this issue myself and I always solved it by being busy, taking on the next challenge, etc. One time I started writing for the school newspaper, another time I started going out alot (almost every night), another time i went to club meetings, etc.
