Default The main health and fitness issues between among females ages 22-30

Hello,

I have an opportunity to write for another health and fitness magazine as well, which is targeted to Western females average age 25.

I'd like to craft a good pitch, therefore I'd like to do some research.

The main question is what are the main three health and fitness concerns of females this age?

From what I see, I'd say top three are:

1. Achieving and keeping ideal weight

2. Getting in shape/looking good in general (skin, muscle tone, hair, etc.)

3. Having a high level of energy (overall well-being).

What do you people think?

(Keep in mind we are talking about average 25 years old females.. I guess not so many average people here, but let's keep our target reader in mind )

Thank you!

Agota

I speak at colleges from time to time and from my observation, many of the women in the age bracket you are talking about are already obese. So it's not a matter of maintaining a healthy weight for them, it's a matter of losing excess weight. The age bracket you are targeting are in the graduation years of college, or recently graduated. I see a LOT of women who are just starting out in college which puts them in the 18 to 20 bracket and they are already heavy. So there's been a lot of unhealthy habits that started way back probably during the teens.

I think you are on the right track! A lot of women talk more about loosing weight than achieving their ideal weight! kind of the same thing!
