Hi all, I'm starting a raw food blog, and I'd love your answers to these questions, to help me learn more about folks like you: 1. Age 2. Gender 3. What % raw do you currently eat? 4. Would you like to eat more raw? 5. If yes, what type of help would you like? Thanks! |

2.MALE 3.Roughly 50% 4.Not really 5.N/A I tried raw vegan multiple times and it makes me fall apart. All the fruit sugar was slowly killing me. It is very true some people do better on protein and fat, and I am one of them. When I was raw I would consume 2 big green juices everyday, as much fruit as I wanted, a big salad at the end of the day, hemp seeds and almonds, etc. I have done both low fat and high fat, but have realized I only have energy and feel good when I eat lower carb, higher fat and protein.

How do you calculate the percentage? Is it by weight? By calories? I never cook vegetables that can be eaten raw, I even eat corn without cooking. I drink a green spinach-greenapple-orange smoothie in the morning, and later in the day usually eat brown rice with vegetables - three tomatoes, cup of spinach and onion. I probably eat more spinach than Popeye. I snack on red apples, pears and salt-free crackers. At sundays I eat cooked meat with my friends. I like the mental clarity that comes when I abstain from eating. I would like to know what nutrients I could be lacking. Last edited by Johnny Metal; 09-08-2011 at 12:23 AM. |

2. M 3. 80-90%, although I don't pay strict attention to this. My diet has gradually evolved to this. I eat what feels good to my body, and my body seems to crave raw. 4. No Last edited by stanmrak; 09-08-2011 at 01:51 AM.

I eat a spinach and banana green smoothie in the morning, grapes, strawberries, carrots, apple/and or plum for lunch/snack clif bar for snack and whatever for dinner (though vegan). This is during the week though. My diet on the weekend is off balance since I am currently not in a stable living situation. Hopefully when I am I will be eating more raw. I would like to stay completely raw until dinner. I don't mind eating cooked for one meal, though I would like to cut that down also, maybe. Depends on the amount of work and what my husband will eat also
