My way to lose weight. - I have only three meals every day, and don't eat snacks or have drinks with sugar in between - the meal in the evening must be lighter - I don't eat large portions, I prefer to eat two small portions of different food - I try not to eat always the same foods, so i don't get bored. - I divided food into four large groups; and every day i eat a certain amount of it from each group. Here there are: fruits, vegetables.. 40%- I can eat something cakes or chocolate now and then, but not more than once or twice a week - Every morning I get up about half an hour earlier, and do 20 minutes of soft physical excercises, like cyclette and streching, before breakfast. I've been doing this for about two weeks now, not a long time,.. but I already feel the benefits. Morning exercises make me feel more energetic and help me to start the day with confidence about my goals. And plus.. i've always had shoulders and neck pain,...while now I feel much better! This new life style isn't really a big change for me, there are only small new habits (exercise, more balanced diet) and I gave up some bad habits such us eating snacks .. I focus on small steps, which I know I can accomplish and maintain through time. I'm sure that if I would start a strict diet, it would not last long. I don't know if this could help anyone, but I wanted to share my experience! ..and bytheway,..one of my future goals will be to improve my english :P for now..sorry for any mistake I made Last edited by simo; 04-30-2007 at 11:50 PM. |
