Default Essential fatty acids may save your life !?

With the craze of potentially disastrous LOW FAT diet and the dominance of processed food industry over our supply of food . Do you supplement yourself with ESSENTIAL FATTY ACIDS like Omega 3 and Omega 6 ?

I tend to follow a medium protein, high fat diet Omega 3 is one of the few supplements I take daily, though I also have a tablespoon or two of unprocessed extra virgin coconut oil fairly often. As I mentioned on another thread, if one lives far from the equator it's best to have cod liver oil (there are lemon flavored versions that taste fine) in the winter and fish oil the rest of the year, going for a brand like Carlson's in order to be safe from mercury. Plus I eat sardines, wild salmon, and some tuna.
