I think you should read the book "The healing miracles of Archangel Raphael" by Doreen Virtue. I can't garantee you'll have a miracle healing when you read it, but it's worth looking into. From my point-of-view, dealing with angels is a good way to begin to move in the direction of having real miracles happen in your life. Good luck! |

Many different systems in the body are interconnected. Many want to focus on one thing and cure it while the rest of the body is sick. Learn to live a healthy lifestyle and I bet that will help it. A lady with a health problem asks an expert how to cure a health problem. The expert asks, "Do you drink diet sodas with artificial sweeteners?" She says "yes, what does that have to do with it?" He asks another question and she says "yes, what does that have to do with it?" He asks another question and she says "yes, what does that have to do with it?" He did not ask these questions for his health but to help her. Many things can affect what she asked about. Now I am not going to ask you a bunch of questions. So I will just take a wild stab in the dark. If this applies to you, then maybe you should stop taking drugs (medications). My second stab is that maybe you should stop consuming dairy products. Now continue the above until you find something that helps like stop listening to very loud music. It could be a combination of many things. Also what you focus on expands. So intead of focusing on bad hearing, focus on getting good health! Just to give you an example of how it can be many things, Arnold Ehret had a fasting center and did heal certain (not all) cases of deafness! |

Mike, I have a profound hearing loss which I've had since shortly after birth (currently 28 years old). So I know how it affects life first hand. It's a major barrier to get over in socializing, but with practice and developed charm (created from pushing yourself socially) you can overcome it for the most part. I too spent a lot of time "wishing" my hearing loss would be healed. When I was younger I used to cry about it and dream that I would be adducted by goodhearted aliens or god who would repair my hearing. But it's just that, dreaming and wishing. If you want to believe in faith healing or mystical miracles and it gives you hope, by all means go ahead. In my opinion, however, it's much better to be practical than to put your hopes in whatever religious leader or mystic is promising to heal you if you follow their "truth". It wasn't until I started being practical and making the best with what I have that things started turning around for me. Accept that you have a permanent hearing loss. Seek out the best hearing aids you can get your hands on. Socialize a lot to increase your lipreading ability (it will be painful at first) and study social psychology to learn how to be charming and put out a good social vibe regardless of whether you can hear people or not. By the way, if you don't mind my asking, how old are you and how did the nerve damage happen? Let me know if you have any other questions I can help you out with. Cheers, Jacob |

Have you thought about embracing your hearing loss? I know it sounds like a crazy question, but I'm serious. If you take the time to learn sign language and interact with others in your situation, you'll find that the Deaf community is amazing to be a part of. They've got a very rich culture. I can hear just fine, but I'm technically Deaf (note the capital "D") from a cultural standpoint. |
