I am on my 12th day of the Colonix Colon Cleansing Program. I have been experiencing horrible headaches and have recently become pretty constipated. I have followed all of the instructions on the Colonix website. I even called in and talked to someone from Colonix. She was kinda rude too. Made it seem like I am doing it all wrong and that it's all my fault. Is this a normal thing that someone experiences while on the Colonix colon cleansing program? This doesn't seem right. Has anyone here ever takin colonix or some sort of colon cleansing program? Can you offer me any advice on why I am feeling so bad. Please help, because I am tired of feeling sick all the time, and I dont' want to quit just yet, because colonix is supposed to do wonders down in the colon. |

Cleansing reactions are normal while making those drastic changes. Especially if you've stopped any previous habits such as coffee/tea etc. I've read that vitamin C throughout the process helps detox go much easier. I believe it was around 500 mg in the AM and PM. Your body is just dumping old stuff...and it doesn't feel good in the process. I remember many years ago doing a major fruit cleanse. First off, the cramping was agony...plus it really alters your life for a bit. You need to stay close to home if you catch my drift. I didn't know about the Vit.C back then. Vitamin C is also a natural laxative if you need help there...just take it to bowel tolerance. For that, I've taken 1000 mg or more several times a day. Maybe you need to slow your cleanse down a bit and let yourself go more slowly? Good luck...it will be worth it soon. You might try looking into other products who are more friendly too Pam |

First, what product did you use? often times natural methods are still the best way to detoxify. I use oxy-powder, a natural herb formulated to promote healthy colons. I learned this from Global Healing Center Health Products & Information but sometimes effects vary from person to person.

I looked at all of the ingredients to see how it worked. At least it does not have any strong laxatives. It works mostly due to the psyciium husks that are pure fiber. Now sometimes this becomes more constipating since the fiber is caught behind a lot of stcky stuff that is not fiber. For example all unaltered plant foods have plenty of fiber. But the refined wheat is refined (altered) and is constipating. So are other animal products like meat, fish and dairy. Milk is used to make paint and glue. So here is what you should do. If you are in a hospital here is what they would do if you were constipated. they would wash it out with water. Water is the best cleaner. Try washing your clothes without water. So you should wash this whole mess out with water. It is called an enema. Learn more about them here. It starts with this: A country herbal doctor visited a couple. The husband had a high fever, was red all over and had pain all over. The wife said that she could not remember when last bowel movement was. He asked if she tried giving him an enema. She had never heard of it. He gave the husband one and within minutes his fever was gone, all the redness was gone and all the pain was gone. This is also a secret trick used by models and dancers to flatten their tummy before an event. With this. right after you do it, your colon will be all clean and clear for you to clog it up again with processed or animal foods. |

This is my first time doing the Dr. Natura program and I am on day two. I definitely had a headache yesterday and thankfully it was gone when I woke up this morning. I have done the Master Cleanse several times and I tend to launch right into detox mode, so I cannot say that I am surprised at how quickly I experienced a detox symptom. I'd love to hear from others who have used this program. It came highly recommended by friends who tried it.

I've done the program and gone through the same. I realized that I wasn't getting enough water. How much water are you drinking? And also, try putting 3/4 of the amount of Fiber that you do in the morning. More water, slightly less fiber. |

Yes anything to do with a cleansing of the body requires a lot of water. Water is a great detoxifier and since you are losing nutrients it's best to keep up with your water intake otherwise you will experience headache. Just be careful with products that cleanses the colon. Also, the constipation is due to lack of water because when it gets to the large intestines water helps break up the bacteria otherwise the "crap" just stays around the transverse colon area before it goes to the descending. Good luck |
