My breakfast contains 4 slices of bread with butter and peanut butter... And a glass of multivitamin... :>

Edit: to make my post at least a bit useful:

To lose weight (fat) permanently, one needs to exercise a lot more, and eat less of the bad food, and more of the good foods. It's that simple actually. Just eating less will only be 'effective' in the first few weeks. After those first weeks, you need to start eating less and less in order to lose weight. You'll also lose muscle in the progress, which you don't want. Muscle burns energy.

So exercise a lot + eat more healthy food + eating less/none of the bad food equals fat (weight) loss...

I have lost tons of weight and regained control of my health after cutting off (90%) the following food of mass murderer for almost 6 months++ .

1 ) Sugar
2 ) Flour based food
3 ) Man made refined carbohydrate ( eg : Potatoes Chips, Non whole bread loaded with sugar, HFCS)
4 ) Fried food ( damaged Polyunsaturated oil)

I'm now experimenting with different ratio of essential fatty acids ( omega 3, 6, 9) to see if it could bring my fitness level and health to the next level .

OMG some one with real common sense and a sensible nutrition plan. Glad I am not the only one.

Bread and butter fro breakfast what an unhealthy start to the day! You'd do well to read this :

The idea that you can archieve a goal like weightloss by using a few techniques like this here and there is flawed.

The problem is the lack of commitment to eat less and to excercise more. Taking a buch of tricks just doesn't help at all.

Weight loss is a simple function.

I see that people tend to overcomplicate how simple it really is.

Everyone has a set number of calories they need in a day to maintain their current weight. This number is a factor of how much you weigh combined with your current metabolism and your activity level.

If you go over that number, you gain weight.

If you go under that number, you loose weight.

That’s it! Your food choices don't even matter if you are simply trying to gain or loose weight.

If you are trying to build muscle, or retain muscle, or lift more weight, or run faster etc. Then you should tweak your diet more. But for simple weight loss/gain, simple calories are all that matter.

It's known that most of the obese people are undernourished with their bad diet consisting of flour, sugar, processed food and package food. If they are just merely cutting down the overall food (Calorie) without replacing them with good quality of food choice. One can expect an aggravation of damage done to the body system due to nutrient deficiency. This is why most dieting plans jsut do not work for long term ( succumbing to the intense craving due to deficiency ).

I speak from my experience that dieting to lose weight without considering food choice and lifestyle is unhealthy and can be potentially dangerous.

Diet Disaster - Why Chronic Dieting Doesn't Work

Quote:
What does help lose and maintain weight is healthy eating habits and food choices and a more active lifestyle. Take a fresh look at your daily diet and exercise-get rid of the idea that a diet is something to endure for a month after which you can go back to your old habits. Make short and long term goals to slowly change your lifestyle to include healthier food choices and to be more active at work and play
