Stop comparing yourself to others. Someone being smaller then you doesn't mean anything. We all have different types of bodies. You are obviously doing this for self image because you think you are over weight. That's not the best direction to go to and is an easy way to create an eating disorder.

you asked for feedback. Well, my feedback is that you should try and 3 day fast first. All the research in the world will not prepare you for a fast. Depending on how toxic your body is, you will go through some really bad symptoms. So, step your way up gradually, and lets not forget that EVERY SINGLE fasting expert would tell you to do this under doctors supervision, which we know you aren't doing.

Take that as positive or negative, it's up to you. I just didn't feel like sugarcoating.

Hi,
I have done several 3 day fasts and 1 ten day fast. I am currently on my 7th day of fasting. I have found that the 3 day fasts are the most difficult because the hunger keeps coming back. Near the end of the third, however, the hunger disappears and you enter into a calm state of mind. Last time I ended my 10 day water fast, I wanted to continue but did not because that was the first time I had done such a long fast.

You will go through the usual things - coated tongue, itching the first couple of days because of discarded dead skin, watery stools and a lower energy level. Positively, you will lose weight, have a sharper mental focus, wake from the normal trance we always are in, very sharp smell, sharp taste and deep breathing.

Regards and good luck,
SVR

That is fine to fast for 40 days under a doctor's supervision. But if you have never fasted before try fasting 3 days first. Then you can do longer ones. There are dangers when fasting. This webpage tells you about them and other things about fasting. It has quotes from 23,000 MDs on fasting. Actually only 23 MDs but that is still a lot.

I left my response before I read yours. So it was a coincidence that I said to try 3 days first. Then after that he can try fasting for a week.
