Default Dhea

Has anyone tried DHEA? Does anyone know what its benefits and side effects are? I have been told that it can increase you're testosterone levels and sense of well being. It would be good to cut through all the hype and get some first hand reports on its veracity as a supplement or not.

Default Mixed Results

I have not tried it myself, however you can find first hand reprots on almost any supplement at bulknutrition.com

I have a book on it called The Superhormone Promise - which describes it as a miracle drug, which increases testosterone, relieves stress by affecting the nervous system and can increase your body's ability to stay youthful. However, I still remain a little skeptical. Most first hand reports are mixed with a lot of people reporting lowered stress and heightened libidio with others saying it's complete bunk. My hypothesis is that it works well on some, not so welll on others. I may give it a 30 day trial.

Yeah I've read some reports on the web but most were published by the supplement suppliers, and it does sound too good to be true.

DHEA works... if you're deficient.

I'm a 21 y/o male, I take 100mg DHEA on days with a lot of stress/lack of sleep as a way of balancing out adrenal stress.
