Default My First 15-Mile Run - I think I'm Addicted :)

Today I ran my first 15-mile run. I often run 5 miles at a time but have never ventured into this kind of distance. At this rate, the marathon is looking like a very good possibility.

You can read about my first 15-mile journey at My 15 Mile Run « The Optimized Life

I have found that running is a lot like life, both have their own battles. If I can conquer a 15-mile run I can surely conquer life's little challenges.

awesome Techgal!

you should tell people that the emotional high from completing a 15 mile run surpasses by far, the pain. Thats why you enjoy it.

That's true, the emotional high of running is much more powerful than the pain. The runner's high is like no other, but sometimes the endorphins don't kick in until the 5th or 6th mile.
