Default recommend a full body stretching routine

My muscles are incredibly tight just about everywhere. I am looking for a simple (so not yoga or something that needs an instructor) stretching routine to help limber up my body.

One of my favorite stretches that I add to any routine are full body circles.

1) Legs wider than shoulders
2) Lock your hands over your head with palms facing out
3) Keeping your arms fully extended, reach out in circles to your left, do a few circles and change directions

It stretches arms, chest, back, hips, calves, hamstring, its a great stretch.

so a minimal routine I do is.

1) head tilts (drop head then roll left and pause, right pause, alternate)
2) shoulder rolls front, then back
3) hip rolls left, then right
4) fully body circle
5) arm circles front then back small, back then front big
6) just jump around and loosen up with body weight

Hey, thanks. The full body circle sounds cool. Do you know where I can find visual instructions for it? I had a hard time finding anything in google.

Go to the post from August 23, 2007 on this blog. It has 5 minutes of stretching that I do everyday taking the best from martial arts, gymnastics and yoga. Read the benefits to see what you get for 5 minutes.
