Default 10 Easy Ways to Make Exercise a Habit

I saw this article from Webmd on 10 easy ways to make exercise a habit. Since no one makes money when you take a walk, they must have made this article to provide value to the readers. Many ask on this forum for ways to motivate them to exercise.
It has to be a non-negotiable!

Ten Easy Ways to Make Exercise a Habit

1. Review medical bills from last three years
2. Get out all pants and measure total interior volume of the waistbands
3. Count hotties at local running park
4. Estimate how much food bill will be cut due to a smaller body's needs
5. Remember that all sale clothes at the end of the season are M, S, and XS
6. Realize the staring could change from horror to admiration in a few months
7. Practice saying, "Yeah, I look a lot younger than I am."
8. No food will be taboo. Ever.
9. Visualize constant unsolicited flirting from members of the opposite sex
10. Two words: bathing suit

I listen to a self hypnosis workout MP3 before I go to bed at night and I have been more inclined to workout the next morning but those work too.

Vision boards work great here - looking great and being fit is quite a visual thing so if you continually remind yourself on how you want to be, it'll motivate you to get off your arse and workout and eat right

Default Mentality Control

Haha, it's funny for the third one : Count hotties at local running park. So for female, counting muscle guy on the running park ?
So it's an exercise too.

Reading all 10, it's get back to our mentality and how we think. Mindset change habits, and habits change action.

I agree that non-negotiable is the key point here. I finally started running every day when I starting thinking, "No excuses. No excuses!!!!"

I've been exercising for a year now, and i still hate it The best habit i can imagine is to do it straight first thing in the morning and you feel good for the rest of the day.

Thumbs up

Visualize yourself as a Healthy Being.
Cut out a picture of a hunky guy you admire and paste your head in his body and stick it in your bathroom mirror. Everytime you see that new guy, just visualize yourself as having that body. That's enough to create the Drive.

"Visualization Creates Will" said Arnold Schwarzenegger. Visualization creates the will to get up in the early morning and go for a jog, it creates the will to do 50 or 100 reps of sit-ups which is otherwise impossible, not because it is tough, but because it is the most boring exercise.
If that doesn't help, this surely would. Have a measuring tape by your bed That alone would move you out of your bed to exercise
