If by surrender you mean you ate the cashews, that's not what I meant.

One technique I use is I plan to indulge the craving every five minutes for the rest of the day. I make it as intense as I can. I'll spend a minute or two directly focusing on the sensations of the craving. I swim in cashews, lick the delicious salt etc. But that's all in my imagination. I don't actually eat a cashew.

That completely reverses any resistance or conflict. I've turned the craving into a job.

In practice, I don't usually remember to indulge the craving in five minutes. I forget about it.

When you tell someone to "come kill you" - THAT is aggressive and frankly, it repels.

If this is your path, fine, great, awesome. Go for it. But the fact is that your points are not based in real nutritional science, they are based on your own intuition - which is great for you but could be harmful for others, because you aren't applying your intuition to everyone. Just to yourself.
I missed this post.

Lak, I'm sorry you feel that way about me. However, I'll point out that my viewpoint is not just based on intuition - it is based on science too. However, other people use science and come to other conclusions. So, it seems a little pointless to try and use science to have the ultimate truth. No one does.
