Lightbulb Endometriosis

Im curious if any of the women who are on here have had to battle with Endometriosis. Many women go years without knowing they have it and I am fortunate enough to have found it young (23) and am working towards healing through a variety of methods... I wanted to see if any other healers have any experience with this whether it be fore themselves or a client. What worked for you?

XOXO

Didn't know what it was until I Googled it:

Quote:
Endometriosis is a condition in which the tissue that behaves like the cells lining the uterus (endometrium) grows in other areas of the body, causing pain, irregular bleeding, and possible infertility.

The tissue growth (implant) typically occurs in the pelvic area, outside of the uterus, on the ovaries, bowel, rectum, bladder, and the delicate lining of the pelvis. However, the implants can occur in other areas of the body, too.

Sounds painful. Sorry you have to experience that.

Its definitley not a fun one... I just thought my family had a history of painful periods (which is why it usually goes unnoticed) so I have my faithful heating pad and usually end up leaving work/school because of it... But I didnt realize it was Endo.

Hopeing to find methods of healing that worked for others

I have endo, especially on my right side.

After I became pregnant the pain lessened a great deal (my periods were less painful after I had my baby). My doctor told me that would help for up to five years with the pain. Sure enough, her 5th birthday rolled around and the severe pain started coming back.

I use a hot water bottle, Reiki and spend a better part of my crampy days curled up in a ball.

I'd be interested in hearing how others deal with it!

Sounds like me... Im so sorry you have to deal with that pain regularly... We will find a way to heal ourselves. =)

Here is something I found on the metaphysical causes of various illnesses. Its like a longer version of chart in the back of "You Can Heal Your Life" by Luoise Hay:

MENSTRUAL PROBLEMS (painful menstruation, irregular cycles, cramps, increased & heavy menstrual flow, amenorrhoea, continual menstruation): Desire to get pregnant or a fear of parenthood. An inability to surrender to the body's natural rhythms & flow, therefore, creating a blockage behind which your feelings gather. Confusion about your role as a woman. or resentment towards men. Competing against others for another person's love. Not loving yourself, & not realising that all the love you need is inside you. Rejection of one's feminine side.

ENDOMETRIOSIS/OVARIAN CYSTS (create menstrual problems & hinder pregnancy): Deep conflict of being fulfilled as a woman or expressing your femininity, or wanting to be a mother or not. Resenting the children you already have. Your femininity has been repressed or abused. You perceive that your partner is rejecting you. Repressing your sexuality. Inner conflict with creating and finding your own path.

Yes I helped a woman to cure it. It is linked to menstruation.
