Default 30 Days - Habits Changing

I am working on my transformation program with splitting new habits by 30 days trials. Today I start with follow goals to be achieved as habit during 30 days.

1. Drink only water (no coffee, alcohol, juices etc.)
2. Eat no artificial sugar products (chocolate, cakes etc.)
3. 30 minutes daily fitness exercises

Before I had 30 days trial too My 30 days trial log and results was great. I will appreciate any comments/suggestions/supportive words as I really need motivation

p.s. So, today day 30 (I have back count)

I have failed with training excersises and today start my trial again. By first two points as drinking water and eating no sugar based products worked well. It is amazing how easy to loose self discipline on fitness. So, today day 30.

Day 28,

As it happen in my first 30 day trial, just after first two - three days self confidance starts growing and it's become easier and easier to stay with program. I am very happy with my Day 28, that day myself was invited to grill bar with 20 other people and while others was eating meat stakes and drinking wine and beer I had average fish stake and greed salad, as a drink sparkling water.

1. Drink only water (no coffee, alcohol, juices etc.) DONE and really enjoy it

2. Eat no artificial sugar products (chocolate, cakes etc.) DONE and have much less thoughts on Snickers bars

3. 30 minutes daily fitness exercises DONE only 10 minutes, looks like if I will not change smth. else this is my limit. I am going to stick to that period for developing habit at least and then in 30 days will start working on my schedule to assign more time for fitness.

Since beginning I lost 3 kg

Hi alekseykravtsun,

Can I join your 30 days trial?

I really need to "kill" some bad habits of mine. Some of my goals are the same :

1- Drink only water,
2- Do yoga and exercises 30 min everyday,
3- Wake up at 5 every morning ( except sunday ),
4- Eat no artificial sugar products.

I will begin this 30 days trial tomorrow morning at... 5 o'clock ;-)

Can I join you?

Natalia

Snickers, blech. Those products have crummy quality chocolate and are vastly overpriced. I wouldn't eat that stuff even on a cheat day.
It's a waste of a good cheat.
You can train yourself to recognize the awful quality of most over the counter junk food and eventually you'll crave good food.
When it's time to cheat go for quality stuff. Especially if you can bake your own desserts.

I do have a weakness for vanilla cake frosting though. Straight, no chaser.
But since it's not usually eaten directly you can buy a whole can cheap considering it can be stretched out over many servings. It's my way of beating the man.

Anyway, if you love sweets set up a cheat meal where you can have something. It helps to have a day to look forward to. Once a week. Unless your not losing weight, in that case go every 2 weeks or whatever, as long as your making progress.

Last week someone made me an apple crisp and I saved it for Sundays cheat meal. It rocked.

Day 27,

Last night I was holding little chocolate bar in hands and almost eat it but feeling that I have to start from day 30 stopped me.

1. Drink only water (no coffee, alcohol, juices etc.) - DONE, I am dreaming about the day when I will pass shop racks with beer, juices, cola with absolute indifference. My dead line by 1 June 11 to become complete vegeterian (no animal products at all) with only water drinking.
2. Eat no artificial sugar products (chocolate, cakes etc.) - DONE
3. 30 minutes daily fitness exercises - DONE, I used very fast walking to work and back with visualizaton of fat dropping down from me from my body in big drops.

It's interesting that I've completely removed cheat meals. I have absolutely no cravings for junk. I eat my oatmeal with cocoa, cinnamon and raisins or honey and that's all I need in terms of sweeties.

I'd like to make a pizza but I don't consider it a cheat meal really. You can make a perfectly healthy pizza and eat it daily. I also made my own chocolate ice-cream the other day with raisins.

Natalia, it's ok, you just do not have enough motivation to be other person rather you right now, for sure you understand that your habits are bad and this creates contrudiction in you. Also you need to build mussles of your confidence and self discipline. You never change all your habits at once. Start with one, like stop drinking cola for 30 days then stick wtih it and do it, in 30 days you can add smth. like stop eating chocholate and do for another 30 days. And back to motivation you need to decide why you want new habits! For me the main target completely transfer in to new person which is in my visualizations every day and this is leading my motivating me. Please start with one target of cola stoping here and you will see how your life change in 30 days!

I have review series of falls I had during my first two weeks and have idetified that

1. I had choose the right habits
2. I did not supply replacement of habits with other, right ones
3. I did not base proper motivation stimules

I am going to spend hours on reviewing goals, setting up better plan on achievement and reinforce motivation then I will continue in same thread.

How about doing a weekend system. So during the week you are good and at the weekend you get to treat yourself. Works for me at least.
