They actually used to put small amounts of formaldehyde in some meats, not just processed meats, to keep it "looking fresh" in the display counter longer. They also use lighting in display cases to enhance the natural color, so, take it out of the case and look at it before deciding. Eat more beef.!! |

Everything causes cancer.... But with that tidbit aside, I'm glad that they are focusing on PROCESSED meat. I don't know how people can eat a hotdog after watching how they are made. YouTube - How It's Made - Hot Dogs |
